For stimulating the feel of safeguarding and nurturing mother nature and instilling the value of eco-consciousness in scholars and literarians, specifically, in the month of celebration of World Environment Day, Indian Society for the Promotion of English Language and Literature (iSPELL India) organized its 93rd Sahityik Satsang virtually at Zoom platform under the guidance of Prof. G A Ghanshyam, Founder and General Secretary, iSPELL India. Dr Sayan Dey, Postdoctoral Fellow, Wits Centre for Diversity Studies, University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa as the keynote speaker deliberated on the intense topic “Eco-consciousness: A literary Venture”.
At the onset, Dr Preeti Choudhary, President, Rajasthan Forum, iSPELL and Assistant Professor of English, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, Rajasthan heartily welcomed all the notables and intellectuals as event Coordinator and invited master of ceremonies to proceed further.
Mr. Shailesh Mishra, Assistant Professor of English, Government Chandulal Chandrakar Arts & Science College, Patan, Durg, Chhattisgarh successfully proceeded as Master of Ceremonies inviting the speaker and transfering questions from audience to the speaker for fruitful discourse.
As the chairperson, Dr Mrinal Srivastava, Professor and Head, Department of English, Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa, Madhya Pradesh skillfully summed up with her perceptiveness adding more in the structured deliberation.
Dr Ashok Sachdeva, Vice President, iSPELL India felicitated Dr. Sayan Dey, Dr Mrinal Srivastava and Mr. Shailesh Mishra with certificates as a token of appreciation and gratitude.
At the end, Dr Choudhary extended her sincere thankfulness towards the dignified guests and august assemblage of academicians for their amiable presence including Mr Pramod Dhengle, IT Coordinator, iSPELL India who handled the technicalities dexterously for the bountiful success of the session.
