            कारगिल युद्ध भारत के इतिहास में एक महत्वपूर्ण क्षण था। 1999 में, हमारे सैनिकों ने घुसपैठियों के खिलाफ हमारी संप्रभुता की रक्षा करते हुए खतरनाक इलाकों और प्रतिकूल मौसम का सामना किया। उनका अद्वितीय दृढ़ संकल्प और वीरता आज भी गूंजती है। जयपुर के सेंट जेवियर्स बॉयज स्कूल के पूर्व छात्र कैप्टन अमित भारद्वाज ने ‘कारगिल युद्ध’ के दौरान बहादुरी के इतिहास में अपना नाम दर्ज कराया। 4 जाट रेजिमेंट में कमीशन प्राप्त, उन्होंने राजस्थान की अदम्य भावना का उदाहरण दिया – एक ऐसी भूमि जो नेतृत्व, साहस और बलिदान से भरी हुई है। कैप्टन भारद्वाज की वीरता की गाथा जयपुर की गलियों में गूंजती है, जहां उनकी स्मृति अमर है। कैप्टन भारद्वाज की विरासत पीढ़ियों को प्रेरित करती है, समय की रेत पर एक अमिट छाप छोड़ती है उनकी उपस्थिति भारतीय सेना के उस गौरव और सम्मान को दर्शाती है, जो एक परिवार के रूप में ऐसे सर्वोच्च बलिदानियों को प्रदान करता है।

            कारगिल विजय दिवस मिश्रित भावनाओं को जागृत करता है – शहीद हुए लोगों के लिए दुख, फिर भी असाधारण वीरता के लिए गर्व। यह सीमाओं को पार करते हुए हमारे राष्ट्र को एकजुट करता है। रक्षा के लिए भारतीय सेना की अटूट प्रतिबद्धता बेजोड़ है। उनके बलिदान हमारे मूल मूल्यों – कर्तव्य, साहस और आशा को मूर्त रूप देते हैं।

            जैसा कि हम कारगिल के नायकों का सम्मान करते हैं, आइए हम उन सभी सैनिकों के प्रति आभार व्यक्त करें जो हमारी सीमाओं की रक्षा करते हैं। वे हमारी स्वतंत्रता और संप्रभुता के सच्चे संरक्षक हैं। इस दिन, आइए हम देशभक्ति, एकता और अखंडता को बनाए रखने की अपनी प्रतिज्ञा को नवीनीकृत करें। कैप्टन अमित भारद्वाज की विरासत जीवित है – एक मजबूत, एकजुट भारत की ओर हमारा मार्गदर्शन करने वाला एक प्रकाशस्तंभ।

The Kargil War was a watershed moment in India’s history. In 1999, our soldiers faced treacherous terrain and adverse weather, defending our sovereignty against infiltrators. Their unparalleled determination and valour resonates even today.

            Capt. Amit Bhardwaj, an alumnus of St. Xavier’s Boys School, Jaipur, etched his name in the annals of bravery during the ‘Kargil War’. Commissioned into the 4 JAT Regiment, he exemplified the indomitable spirit of Rajasthan – a land steeped in leadership, courage, and sacrifice. Capt. Bhardwaj’s saga of valour reverberates through the streets of Jaipur, where his memory is immortalized. Capt. Bhardwaj’s legacy inspires generations, leaving an indelible mark on the sands of time.  Family Members of the veteran heroes attended the special events commemorating Kargil Vijay Diwas and paying remembrance to war heroes. Their presence reflects the pride and honour the Indian Army, as a family, bestows upon such supreme sacrifices.

Kargil Vijay Diwas evokes mixed emotions – sorrow for fallen lives, yet pride for extraordinary valour. It unites our nation, transcending boundaries. The Indian Army’s unwavering commitment to defence stands unmatched. Their sacrifices embody our core values – duty, courage, and hope.

As we honour Kargil’s heroes, let us express gratitude to all soldiers who safeguard our borders. They are the true guardians of our freedom and sovereignty. On this day, let us renew our vow to uphold patriotism, unity, and integrity. Capt. Amit Bhardwaj’s legacy lives on – a beacon guiding us towards a stronger, united India.
