A Poetic Celebration of Women Poets held at PLCS, India

Progressive Literary and Cultural Society (PLCS) organized a poetic congregation entitled ‘Feminera: A Celebration of Women Poets’ as a celebration of womanhood.

Dr Shamenaz as Convenor, India initiated the programme. Further Dr. Manisha Singh, Co-convenor, India successfully moderated the whole programme.

Organizing Committee Members were Manju Yadav (India/Spain), Annette Tarpley (USA) and Dr. Shalini Yadav (India) who did efforts for its grand success.

Esteemed and powerful voices Jill Sharon Kimmelman (USA), Zaneta Varnado Johns (USA), Mushine Arda (Turkey), Michela Zanarella (Italy), Anna Maria Dall’Olio (Italy), Gulnar Raheem Khan (India), Ranjana Sharan Sinha (India), Helen Sarita (Philippines), Punam Saxena (India), Neerja Sachdev (India), Jamuna Bini (India), Dr Shalini Yadav (India), Dr Shamenaz (India) and Dr Manish Singh (India) participated and recited their aesthetic pieces of poetry asserting feminist perspectives.
The event fulfilling its aim ended with a note of more fruitful events in future.
