बीकानेर: थल सेनाध्यक्ष उपेंद्र द्विवेदी का घड़साना दौरा, पाकिस्तान को कड़े शब्दों में चेतावनी – कहा अबकी बार संयम नहीं बरतेगा भारत

बीकानेर। भारतीय थल सेनाध्यक्ष जनरल उपेंद्र द्विवेदी ने शुक्रवार को श्रीगंगानगर जिले के घड़साना क्षेत्र में अग्रिम गांव 22 एमडी का दौरा किया। इस दौरे को भारत की पश्चिमी सीमा पर बदलते हालात और भविष्य में पाकिस्तान को लेकर भारत की रणनीतिक तैयारी के संकेत के रूप में देखा जा रहा है। सेनाध्यक्ष का यह दौरा न केवल सैनिकों का मनोबल बढ़ाने वाला साबित हुआ बल्कि उन्होंने पाकिस्तान को साफ चेतावनी देते हुए कहा कि ऑपरेशन सिंदूर 2.0 में भारत वह संयम नहीं रखेगा जो पहली बार रखा था।
ऑपरेशन सिंदूर की यादें और नई चेतावनी
अपने संबोधन में सेनाध्यक्ष ने ऑपरेशन सिंदूर 1.0 की सफलता का जिक्र करते हुए बताया कि भारतीय सेना ने इस ऑपरेशन के दौरान पाकिस्तान के अंदर 9 आतंकी ठिकानों को ध्वस्त किया था। इनमें से 7 ठिकाने भारतीय थलसेना ने और 2 ठिकाने भारतीय वायुसेना ने निशाना बनाए थे। इस कार्रवाई में पाकिस्तान के सौ से अधिक सैनिक और कई दर्जन आतंकी मारे गए थे।
जनरल द्विवेदी ने कहा – “ऑपरेशन सिंदूर का नामकरण प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने किया था और इसे महिलाओं को समर्पित किया गया था। इस ऑपरेशन में जिस तरह से सेना और आम जनता ने एकजुट होकर सफलता हासिल की, वह हमेशा इतिहास का हिस्सा रहेगा। हर भारतीय महिला जब अपनी मांग में सिंदूर लगाती है तो उसे उस बलिदान की भी याद आती है जो हमारे सैनिकों ने इस अभियान में दिया।”
उन्होंने दोहराया कि भारत ने पहली बार संयम रखते हुए केवल आतंकी ठिकानों और उनके आकाओं को ही निशाना बनाया, किसी निर्दोष नागरिक को नुकसान नहीं पहुंचाया। लेकिन अबकी बार यानी ऑपरेशन सिंदूर 2.0 में भारत पूरी तैयारी और आक्रामकता के साथ आगे बढ़ेगा।
“पाकिस्तान को भूगोल पर अपनी जगह बचानी है तो आतंकवाद छोड़ना होगा”
सेनाध्यक्ष का पाकिस्तान को संदेश बेहद कठोर और साफ था। उन्होंने कहा – “अगर पाकिस्तान ने आतंकवाद का रास्ता नहीं छोड़ा तो उसे इतिहास और भूगोल से मिटा दिया जाएगा। इस बार भारत ऐसी कार्रवाई करेगा कि पाकिस्तान को सोचना पड़ेगा कि वह दुनिया के नक्शे में रहना चाहता है या नहीं।”
अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर सबूत पेश करने की मिसाल
जनरल द्विवेदी ने बताया कि भारत ने ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के सबूत पूरी दुनिया के सामने पेश किए थे। अगर ऐसा नहीं किया जाता तो पाकिस्तान हमेशा की तरह इस सच्चाई को छुपा लेता। भारत ने इस ऑपरेशन को पूरी पारदर्शिता और सैन्य क्षमता का प्रदर्शन बनाकर दुनिया के सामने रखा था।
तीन वीर अधिकारियों का हुआ सम्मान
कार्यक्रम के दौरान ऑपरेशन सिंदूर 1.0 में असाधारण प्रदर्शन करने वाले तीन सैन्य अधिकारियों को विशेष सम्मान दिया गया। इनमें बीएसएफ की 140वीं बटालियन के कमांडेंट प्रभाकर सिंह, राजपूताना राइफल्स के मेजर रितेश कुमार और हवलदार मोहित गैरा शामिल रहे। सेनाध्यक्ष ने कहा कि यह सम्मान केवल व्यक्तियों का नहीं बल्कि पूरी सेना और उन परिवारों का है जो सीमा पर डटे जवानों के साथ खड़े रहते हैं।
घड़साना सेक्टर में संचालनात्मक तैयारियों की समीक्षा
अपने दौरे के दौरान सेनाध्यक्ष ने घड़साना सेक्टर में अग्रिम इलाकों का भी दौरा किया। उन्हें वहां की सुरक्षा स्थिति, तैनाती और सेना की संचालनात्मक तैयारियों के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी दी गई। उन्होंने अग्रिम रक्षा व्यवस्थाओं का जायज़ा लिया और भारतीय सेना की हर चुनौती का डटकर सामना करने की क्षमता पर विश्वास जताया।
जनरल द्विवेदी ने सैनिकों और अधिकारियों से संवाद किया और उनकी सतर्कता, पेशेवर दक्षता और बीएसएफ तथा तीनों सेनाओं के बीच तालमेल की सराहना की। उन्होंने कहा कि “संयुक्त समन्वय ही सीमाओं की सुरक्षा का मूल आधार है और भारतीय सेना इस क्षेत्र में किसी भी खतरे से निपटने के लिए पूरी तरह तैयार है।”
मनौबल और प्रतिबद्धता को मिला नया बल
घड़साना का यह दौरा न केवल सामरिक दृष्टि से महत्वपूर्ण रहा बल्कि इससे सीमा पर तैनात सैनिकों का मनोबल भी ऊँचा हुआ। सेनाध्यक्ष ने कठिन परिस्थितियों में डटे सैनिकों की प्रशंसा की और उन्हें सतत सतर्क रहने तथा किसी भी खतरे का प्रभावी ढंग से मुकाबला करने का आह्वान किया।
इस दौरे ने यह स्पष्ट कर दिया है कि भारतीय सेना अब किसी भी तरह की शत्रुतापूर्ण हरकत पर संयम बरतने के बजाय निर्णायक जवाब देने के लिए तैयार है। पाकिस्तान को दिए गए सेनाध्यक्ष के शब्द साफ संकेत हैं कि ऑपरेशन सिंदूर 2.0 महज एक सैन्य कार्रवाई नहीं, बल्कि भारत की राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा नीति का निर्णायक चरण होगा।
Bikaner Border Visit: Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi Warns Pakistan of Decisive Retaliation, Reviews Ghadsana Sector Preparedness

Bikaner/Ghadsana: In a strong and symbolic message from the borderlands of Rajasthan, Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi on Friday visited the forward areas of Ghadsana in Sri Ganganagar district, Rajasthan, and issued a stern warning to Pakistan. Addressing officers and troops during his visit to village 22 MD in the Ghadsana sector, the Chief of Army Staff declared that while Operation Sindoor 1.0 was conducted with measured restraint, the upcoming Operation Sindoor 2.0 would witness India adopting a far more decisive and uncompromising approach against Pakistan-backed terrorism.
General Dwivedi, who interacted with both Indian Army and BSF officers during the tour, emphasized that India’s patience must not be mistaken for weakness. He recalled the achievements of Operation Sindoor 1.0, stating that the operation had successfully destroyed nine major terrorist hideouts inside Pakistan, leading to the elimination of over 100 Pakistani soldiers and numerous terrorists. “This operation showed the world that India can act with precision and restraint. We demonstrated that our targets were strictly terrorist bases and their leadership. Not a single innocent life was touched. The evidence of these strikes was shared globally to expose Pakistan’s duplicity,” he said.
Operation Sindoor: A Legacy That Lives On
The Army Chief highlighted the historical significance of Operation Sindoor, underlining that the operation was not just a military exercise but a moment deeply tied to India’s national consciousness. He noted that the operation was named by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself and dedicated to the women of India. “Whenever an Indian woman applies sindoor on her forehead, she remembers the soldiers who ensured her dignity and safety. Operation Sindoor is not just a mission—it is an emotion, a legacy, and a commitment that will live on with every soldier who fought for it,” General Dwivedi declared.
He further explained that unlike previous military campaigns that carried different names, the Sindoor operations—both past and forthcoming—would be known under a single identity. “This symbolises unity of purpose, clarity of intent, and the depth of our resolve to eradicate terrorism,” he added.
Pakistan Warned: Geography at Stake
In some of the strongest words yet from an Indian Army Chief, General Dwivedi issued an open warning to Pakistan. He asserted that the time for restraint was over, and the next phase of military action would compel Pakistan to rethink its very existence on the world map.
“During Operation Sindoor 1.0, we exercised restraint despite our ability to inflict deeper damage. This time, there will be no such limits. Our actions will be so decisive that Pakistan will have to ask itself—does it want to remain in history and geography or not? If Pakistan wants to secure its place on the map of the world, it must abandon its sponsorship of terrorism immediately,” he cautioned.
Nine Terror Targets Neutralized in 1.0
Recalling the operational details, General Dwivedi explained that following the Pahalgam terror attack, India had launched a swift and well-coordinated response through Operation Sindoor. The operation targeted nine major terrorist bases inside Pakistan—seven struck by the Indian Army and two by the Indian Air Force.
He emphasized that India’s approach was not to target military assets or civilian populations but to eliminate terrorist infrastructure and leadership. “Our strikes were aimed exclusively at terrorist training centres, hideouts, and command nodes. This clarity of mission is what earned the world’s respect. Many nations stood by India, condemning the Pahalgam attack and supporting our right to act in self-defence,” he recalled.
Honouring the Brave: Officers Felicitated
During the event, the Army Chief personally honoured three officers who had demonstrated exceptional valour and leadership during Operation Sindoor 1.0. Those recognised included BSF 140th Battalion Commandant Prabhakar Singh, Major Ritesh Kumar of Rajputana Rifles, and Havildar Mohit Gaira. Their contributions were hailed as shining examples of the synergy between the Army and BSF in defending India’s borders.
Review of Ghadsana Sector Operational Readiness
The Army Chief’s visit was not limited to ceremonial recognition. He conducted a thorough review of operational deployments and preparedness in the Ghadsana sector. General Dwivedi was briefed on the prevailing security scenario, troop readiness, and defence infrastructure along the border. He personally inspected frontline positions, interacted with troops, and expressed full confidence in the Army’s ability to counter any challenge.
He praised the professionalism, vigilance, and dedication of both Army and BSF personnel, particularly in operating under challenging desert conditions. Stressing on jointness and integration, he noted that seamless coordination between the Army, Air Force, Navy, and BSF had enhanced India’s operational capability in the sector. “Such synergy strengthens our ability to defend the nation with unmatched resolve,” he stated.
Raising Morale, Strengthening Resolve
General Dwivedi’s visit significantly boosted the morale of soldiers deployed in forward areas. He called upon them to remain vigilant, maintain peak operational readiness, and continue working in close cooperation with other defence forces.
In his parting words, he reaffirmed the Army’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding India’s sovereignty and integrity. “Our soldiers are the guardians of India’s borders and pride. The nation stands behind you. And if the time comes, we shall not hesitate to strike decisively, just as we did during Operation Sindoor 1.0—but with even greater force in Operation Sindoor 2.0,” he said, leaving no doubt about India’s readiness to act.
Symbolism from the Borderlands
The choice of Ghadsana—a sensitive forward sector in Rajasthan bordering Pakistan—for this message was deliberate. The visit underlined India’s resolve not just in words but in operational deployment. By personally reviewing defences and standing shoulder-to-shoulder with troops, the Army Chief sent a message of confidence to the nation and a warning to adversaries across the border.
The visit of General Upendra Dwivedi to Bikaner’s Ghadsana sector has reaffirmed India’s preparedness, unity, and ironclad commitment to defeating terrorism. The message was clear: restraint is not infinite, and the next chapter of Operation Sindoor will be written with decisive force if Pakistan fails to change course.
