In a remarkable and emotionally resonant district-level ceremony held at Ravindra Rangmanch in Bikaner, the Women and Child Development Department (WCD) honoured the tireless efforts of Anganwadi workers under the theme “Bahno Ka Suraksha-Samman Parv” (Festival of Safety and Respect for Sisters). The highlight of the event was a live broadcast of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma’s address from Jaipur, wherein he established a heartfelt connection with the Anganwadi workers across the state.
The event witnessed a large turnout of Anganwadi workers and helpers from across Bikaner district, their faces beaming with pride as they listened to the Chief Minister’s warm words of encouragement and recognition. CM Bhajanlal Sharma celebrated Raksha Bandhan with the Anganwadi sisters, symbolically tying rakhis and announcing significant gestures of appreciation including the direct transfer of ₹501 as a token of respect into the bank accounts of each worker and helper.
CM’s Empathy Wins Hearts
In his address from Jaipur, which was screened live on a large display at Ravindra Rangmanch, CM Sharma extended Raksha Bandhan greetings to over 3,000 Anganwadi sisters from Bikaner and thousands more across Rajasthan. Along with the monetary transfer, he also declared that each Anganwadi worker would receive an umbrella and sweets as part of the Raksha Bandhan gift from the state government.
“This government stands firmly for the dignity, protection, and pride of our sisters. Our Anganwadi workers are the invisible warriors who nurture the foundation of our society—our children,” said the Chief Minister. His emotional and personal tone struck a chord with the audience, several of whom were moved to tears.
Bikaner MLA Maharani Sidhhi Kumari Graces the Occasion
The event in Bikaner was graced by the local MLA of Bikaner East, Maharani Siddhi Kumari, who participated as the chief guest. In her speech, she saluted the Anganwadi workers, calling them “pillars of society.” She remarked, “This is not just a ceremonial gathering; it is a celebration of the invisible strength of thousands of women who work quietly, devotedly, and selflessly for the betterment of society.”
She lauded their continuous efforts in early childhood care and nutrition, highlighting how these women silently shape the future of the nation.
Strong Administrative Support Behind the Scenes
Deputy Director of the Women and Child Development Department, Shri Subhash Bishnoi, informed the gathering that under the able guidance of District Collector Namrata Vrishni, all necessary arrangements were completed well in time. Over 3,000 Anganwadi workers and helpers from different blocks of Bikaner district were linked with the event either physically or virtually.
The event was meticulously planned to ensure that every Anganwadi sister felt recognised, included, and inspired.
Voices of the Frontline Women
Among the many emotional moments, a powerful voice came from an Anganwadi worker who attended the ceremony:
“This is the first time any Chief Minister has directly spoken to us in such a warm, personal manner. We feel truly seen, respected, and motivated to continue our work with even greater dedication. This respect is more valuable than any award.”
The event ended with thunderous applause, warm embraces, and a shared sense of pride that transcended the boundaries of caste, community, and economic status — uniting thousands of women under one banner of honour and collective strength.

महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग द्वारा आयोजित ‘बहनों का सुरक्षा-सम्मान पर्व’ के अंतर्गत मंगलवार को बीकानेर के रवीन्द्र रंगमंच पर ‘आंगनबाड़ी बहन सम्मान’ कार्यक्रम बड़े उत्साह और गरिमा के साथ संपन्न हुआ। यह आयोजन जिले की तीन हजार से अधिक आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं और सहायिकाओं के लिए एक ऐतिहासिक और प्रेरणादायक पल बन गया।
कार्यक्रम का मुख्य आकर्षण मुख्यमंत्री श्री भजनलाल शर्मा का जयपुर से किया गया सीधा संवाद था, जो रवीन्द्र रंगमंच पर बड़ी स्क्रीन के माध्यम से प्रसारित किया गया। मुख्यमंत्री ने आत्मीयता के साथ आंगनबाड़ी बहनों से संवाद किया, राखी बंधवाई और उन्हें विशेष उपहारों की सौगात दी।
मुख्यमंत्री का भावुक संवाद: सम्मान के साथ जुड़ाव
मुख्यमंत्री ने राज्य भर की आंगनबाड़ी बहनों को रक्षाबंधन की शुभकामनाएं देते हुए घोषणा की कि सभी कार्यकर्ताओं और सहायिकाओं के खातों में ₹501 की सम्मान राशि ट्रांसफर की जाएगी। साथ ही उन्हें छाता और मिठाई भी उपहार स्वरूप भेंट की जाएगी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा,
“सरकार बहनों की सुरक्षा और सम्मान को सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता देती है। हमारी आंगनबाड़ी बहनें समाज की नींव मजबूत कर रही हैं, और उनका यह समर्पण प्रशंसनीय है।”
मुख्यमंत्री की इस आत्मीयता और मानवीय संवाद ने उपस्थित सभी महिलाओं को भावविभोर कर दिया।
मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में महारानी सिद्धि कुमारी की उपस्थिति
बीकानेर पूर्व विधानसभा क्षेत्र की विधायक महारानी सिद्धि कुमारी ने कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शिरकत की। उन्होंने आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं की समाजसेवा को नमन करते हुए कहा,
“ये बहनें समाज की वह मजबूत दीवार हैं जो चुपचाप बच्चों की नींव को सुदृढ़ कर रही हैं। यह कार्यक्रम महज एक आयोजन नहीं, बल्कि उनके समर्पण का उत्सव है।”
उन्होंने आंगनबाड़ी केंद्रों को समाज परिवर्तन का आधार बताया और सरकार के इस प्रयास को सराहा।
प्रशासनिक समन्वय और सफलता
महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग के उपनिदेशक सुभाष बिश्नोई ने बताया कि जिला कलक्टर नम्रता वृष्णि के निर्देशन में जिला स्तरीय तैयारियां समय पर पूरी कर ली गई थीं। जिले की तीन हजार से अधिक आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं और सहायिकाओं को कार्यक्रम से जोड़ा गया।
जमीन से जुड़ी आवाजें
कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित एक आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ता ने कहा,
“पहली बार किसी मुख्यमंत्री ने इस तरह से सीधा संवाद किया है। हमें गर्व है कि हमारी सेवा को पहचाना गया है। यह हमें और भी समर्पण के साथ कार्य करने की प्रेरणा देगा।”
इस आयोजन ने न केवल आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं के आत्मसम्मान को ऊंचा किया, बल्कि एक मजबूत सामाजिक संदेश भी दिया कि मूल्यांकन सिर्फ बड़े पदों का नहीं होता, सेवा के जज्बे का भी होता है।
