ARMS AND AMMUNITION RECOVERED IN A JOINT OPERATION IN MANIPUR

Acting on specific information about the presence of arms and ammunition in the general area Yaripok in Thoubal district of Manipur, the Indian Army along with Assam Rifles launched a search operation on 29 May 2024 and recovered one 9mm Carbine Machine Gun, one 9mm Pistol, one Double Barrel Gun, six Hand Grenades, ammunition and other war-like stores. The recovered items have been handed over to Manipur Police for further action.
