Acting on specific intelligence of presence of arms and ammunition in general area Maphou Dam, in Imphal East district, Manipur, troops of Indian Army and Manipur Police launched a joint search operation and recovered two Country made (Pompies), Mortar ammunition and War-like stores. The recovered weapons and war-like stores have been handed over to the Manipur Police for further investigation.
