Army’s ‘Ilm Tolo Da Para’ drive continues to equip North Waziristan with education

On behalf of the Pakistan Army, the ‘Ilm Tolo Da Para’ campaign, meaning ‘Education for All’, is underway in Spinwam and Shivah tehsils of North Waziristan.

In January, the Pakistan Army launched the ‘Ilm Tolo Da Para’ campaign in North Waziristan’s Spinwam and Shivah tehsils.

In the first phase, an educational survey was conducted, as a result of which 2,027 children were identified. In the second phase, the Pakistan Army started a comprehensive awareness campaign with the support of the civil administration and local leaders.

A documentary film was also made in Pashto to make the awareness campaign effective. The film raised educational awareness at the local level.

In the third phase of the campaign, enrollment of out-of-school children was started, as a result of which 332 out-of-school children have been successfully enrolled so far.

The Pakistan Army is determined to equip every individual with education through the ‘Ilm Tolo Da Para’ campaign.
