Assam Rifles Churachandpur Battalion Conducted Medical Camp on World Hepatitis Day

Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) conducted a medical camp on ‘World Hepatitis Day’ on 26 July 2023. The medical Camp was organised by Assam Rifles under AR CAP project for the year 2023-24 at Moldak and S Khullen village. The medical camp was an endeavour to reach out to populace of Moldak and S Khullen village with limited access to optimum healthcare facilities during the ongoing crisis. The medical staff of Assam Rifles Unit Hospital, examined a total of 117 civilians from Moldak and S Khullen village. The beneficiaries recieved consultation, medicines , laboratory services, and awareness on prevention and control of Hepatitis, seasonal illnesses and importance of maintaining personal hygiene and sanitation.

Such endeavours have brought a ray of hope for the people who are deprived of emergency medical attention and regular check ups due to the ongoing situation.
