विश्व स्तर पर सीमा और समुद्री सुरक्षा के बदलते स्वरूप के बीच इस वर्ष आयोजित वर्ल्ड बॉर्डर सिक्योरिटी कांग्रेस 2026 ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय समुदाय का ध्यान अपनी ओर आकर्षित किया। वियना, ऑस्ट्रिया में 14 से 16 अप्रैल के बीच आयोजित इस महत्वपूर्ण सम्मेलन में दुनिया भर के वरिष्ठ सरकारी अधिकारी, सुरक्षा विशेषज्ञ, नीति निर्माता और उद्योग जगत के प्रतिनिधि एक मंच पर एकत्र हुए। वर्ष 2012 में स्थापित यह कांग्रेस आज वैश्विक सुरक्षा संवाद का एक प्रमुख केंद्र बन चुकी है, जहां सीमाओं की सुरक्षा, उभरती चुनौतियों, नई तकनीकों और अंतरराष्ट्रीय सहयोग के मुद्दों पर गहन विचार-विमर्श होता है। ऐसे समय में जब समुद्री सीमाएं आतंकवाद, तस्करी, अवैध गतिविधियों और भू-राजनीतिक प्रतिस्पर्धा का नया केंद्र बनती जा रही हैं, इस सम्मेलन का महत्व और भी बढ़ जाता है।

“मैरीटाइम सेफ्टी एंड सिक्योरिटी” विषय पर अपने संबोधन में एडीजी बडोला ने भारतीय तटरक्षक बल की सक्रिय भूमिका को विस्तार से रखा। उन्होंने बताया कि भारत किस प्रकार अपने विशाल समुद्री क्षेत्र में सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित कर रहा है और समुद्र के माध्यम से होने वाली अवैध गतिविधियों जैसे तस्करी, ड्रग्स व्यापार, मानव तस्करी और अवैध मछली पकड़ने के खिलाफ प्रभावी कार्रवाई कर रहा है। उन्होंने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि आज समुद्री सुरक्षा केवल पारंपरिक खतरों तक सीमित नहीं रह गई है, बल्कि इसमें साइबर खतरे, ड्रोन आधारित निगरानी, और असममित युद्ध जैसी नई चुनौतियां भी शामिल हो गई हैं। ऐसे में तकनीक आधारित निगरानी और मजबूत समन्वय प्रणाली अत्यंत आवश्यक हो गई है।
जटिल समुद्री सीमाएं और वैश्विक सहयोग की आवश्यकता पर भारत का जोर
