नई दिल्ली, 19 अगस्त 2026: भारत अंतरराष्ट्रीय समुद्री सहयोग को मजबूत करने और समुद्र को अधिक सुरक्षित, स्वच्छ तथा संरक्षित बनाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल के तहत फरवरी 2027 में नई दिल्ली में 5वें कोस्ट गार्ड ग्लोबल समिट (CGGS) की मेजबानी करेगा। यह महत्वपूर्ण अंतरराष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन भारतीय तटरक्षक के स्वर्णिम जयंती वर्ष के साथ आयोजित होगा, जिससे इस पूरे आयोजन का महत्व और भी बढ़ जाएगा। पांच दशक की सेवा पूरी कर रहे भारतीय तटरक्षक के लिए यह अवसर न केवल संगठन की यात्रा और उपलब्धियों को अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर प्रस्तुत करने का होगा, बल्कि दुनिया भर की कोस्ट गार्ड और समुद्री एजेंसियों के साथ सहयोग को और मजबूत करने का भी अवसर प्रदान करेगा।

19 अगस्त को आयोजित वर्किंग लेवल मीटिंग ने फरवरी 2027 में होने वाले 5वें CGGS की तैयारियों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण आधार तैयार किया है। बैठक में CGGS Meeting Guidelines, Information Sharing Mechanism, वेबसाइट, पेशेवर विशेषज्ञता के आदान-प्रदान और भविष्य की सहयोगात्मक गतिविधियों जैसे महत्वपूर्ण विषयों पर चर्चा हुई।
अब इन तैयारियों को आगे बढ़ाते हुए नई दिल्ली में होने वाला मुख्य सम्मेलन अंतरराष्ट्रीय समुद्री एजेंसियों के बीच संवाद और सहयोग को नई दिशा देने की उम्मीद रखता है। भारत के लिए यह आयोजन एक तरफ भारतीय तटरक्षक की स्वर्णिम जयंती का महत्वपूर्ण अवसर होगा, वहीं दूसरी तरफ वैश्विक समुद्री समुदाय के साथ मजबूत और दीर्घकालिक साझेदारी को आगे बढ़ाने का मंच भी बनेगा।
5वां कोस्ट गार्ड ग्लोबल समिट इस व्यापक संदेश को मजबूती देगा कि समुद्र की सुरक्षा, संरक्षा, स्वच्छता और स्थिरता सामूहिक जिम्मेदारी है, और इसके लिए देशों तथा समुद्री एजेंसियों के बीच निरंतर संवाद, सहयोग और साझा प्रयास आवश्यक हैं।
