दीपों के इस पावन पर्व पर जब पूरा देश रोशनी और उत्सव के रंगों में नहाया हुआ था, तब बीकाणा वीरा केंद्र ने दीपावली को एक नई परिभाषा दी — करुणा, सेवा और मानवीय संवेदना की। बीकानेर की इस संस्था ने सेवा आश्रम जाकर वहां निवास कर रहे विशेष आवश्यकता वाले भाई-बहनों के बीच न केवल दीप जलाए, बल्कि दिलों में अपनापन और स्नेह की लौ भी प्रज्वलित कर दी।
यह आयोजन मात्र वस्त्र या उपहार वितरण नहीं था, बल्कि एक भावनात्मक संवाद था — एक ऐसा प्रयास, जिसमें प्रेम और समानता की भावना ने त्यौहार को वास्तविक अर्थों में “दीपावली” बना दिया।

वे दीपक केवल सजावट का प्रतीक नहीं थे, बल्कि आत्मीयता और कृतज्ञता का उज्ज्वल संदेश थे — एक दिल से दूसरे दिल तक पहुंची रोशनी। जब इन दीपकों में ज्योति जलाई गई, तो पूरा वातावरण मानो आध्यात्मिक प्रकाश से भर उठा।
उन झिलमिलाते दीपों की लौ में केवल तेल नहीं जल रहा था, बल्कि उसमें जल रहा था — प्रेम, संवेदना और साझा मानवता का प्रकाश। विशेषजनों के चेहरे पर जो सच्ची मुस्कान थी, वह किसी भी भौतिक वैभव से कहीं अधिक अनमोल थी।

इस प्रेरणादायी पहल के लिए सेवा आश्रम के संस्थापक भीष्म कौशिक ने बीकाणा वीरा केंद्र के प्रति गहरी कृतज्ञता व्यक्त की। उन्होंने केंद्र के कार्यों की सराहना करते हुए कहा,

कार्यक्रम के दौरान उन्होंने संस्था को मोमेंटो भेंट कर सम्मानित किया। वहीं, काउंसलर अनुराधा जी ने भी वीरा सदस्यों की इस अनूठी पहल की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि यह प्रयास उन लोगों के चेहरों पर मुस्कान लाया है, जो अक्सर समाज के कोनों में भुला दिए जाते हैं। उन्होंने इसे “दीपावली के असली दीपों की तरह झिलमिलाता मानवीय उदाहरण” बताया।
इस सेवा अभियान की प्रेरक महिलाएं
इस अभियान का नेतृत्व चेयरपर्सन वीरा मनीषा डागा ने किया, जिन्होंने अपने नेतृत्व और संवेदनशीलता से पूरे आयोजन को सशक्त दिशा दी।
सचिव वीरा मिथिला भूरा ने सभी तैयारियों का बखूबी संचालन किया, जबकि कोषाध्यक्ष वीरा शांता भूरा ने आर्थिक और व्यवस्थागत जिम्मेदारी को सूझबूझ से निभाया।

आज जब समाज में चकाचौंध और दिखावे की प्रवृत्ति बढ़ती जा रही है, ऐसे में बीकानेर की ये वीरा महिलाएं हमें यह सिखाती हैं कि असली रोशनी empathy (सहानुभूति) से आती है।
उनके इस प्रयास ने दीपावली के दिन को दिलों के त्योहार में बदल दिया — जहां सबसे चमकदार दीप वो थे जो प्रेम और निःस्वार्थता से जले।
जैसे-जैसे रात का अंधकार चारों ओर फैलता गया, वैसे-वैसे उन दिलों की रोशनी और गहरी होती चली गई।
और इस रोशनी ने यह सच्चाई फिर से लिख दी —
