अमर शहीद कैप्टन चंद्र चौधरी की 24वीं शहादत दिवस पर बीकानेर में श्रद्धांजलि सभा, कलेक्टर निशांत जैन, एसपी मृदुल कछावा सहित सैन्य एवं प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों ने किया नमन
बीकानेर। देश की रक्षा के लिए सर्वोच्च बलिदान देने वाले अमर शहीद कैप्टन चंद्र चौधरी की 24वीं शहादत दिवस के अवसर पर बुधवार, 9 सितंबर 2026 को बीकानेर में भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजलि सभा का आयोजन किया गया। अमर शहीद कैप्टन चंद्र चौधरी सर्किल पर आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में प्रशासनिक, पुलिस, सैन्य एवं पूर्व सैन्य अधिकारियों के साथ बड़ी संख्या में गणमान्य नागरिक उपस्थित रहे। सभी ने शहीद को पुष्पांजलि अर्पित कर उनके अदम्य साहस, कर्तव्यनिष्ठा और राष्ट्र के प्रति सर्वोच्च समर्पण को याद किया।
कार्यक्रम में बीकानेर जिला कलेक्टर निशांत जैन और पुलिस अधीक्षक मृदुल कछावा सहित प्रशासन एवं पुलिस विभाग के अधिकारी मौजूद रहे। अधिकारियों ने शहीद कैप्टन चंद्र चौधरी के स्मारक पर पुष्प अर्पित कर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी। इस अवसर पर कहा गया कि देश की सीमाओं की रक्षा करते हुए अपने प्राणों का बलिदान देने वाले वीर सैनिकों का त्याग राष्ट्र के इतिहास में सदैव अमर रहता है और उनकी वीरगाथाएं आने वाली पीढ़ियों को देशसेवा के लिए प्रेरित करती रहेंगी।
श्रद्धांजलि सभा में अमर शहीद कैप्टन चंद्र चौधरी की पत्नी शारदा चौधरी भी उपस्थित रहीं। शारदा चौधरी वर्तमान में राजस्थान प्रशासनिक सेवा यानी आरएएस अधिकारी के रूप में अपनी सेवाएं दे रही हैं। उन्होंने भी अपने शहीद पति को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की और उनके बलिदान को याद किया। इस भावुक अवसर पर शहीद परिवार के प्रति प्रशासनिक एवं सैन्य अधिकारियों ने सम्मान व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि राष्ट्र अपने वीर सैनिकों और उनके परिवारों के योगदान को कभी नहीं भूल सकता।
कार्यक्रम में जिला सैनिक कल्याण अधिकारी, फलोदी कर्नल मोहन सिंह, सेवानिवृत्त सैन्य अधिकारी कर्नल हेम सिंह शेखावत सहित बड़ी संख्या में पूर्व सैनिक और सैन्य अधिकारी मौजूद रहे। वहीं बीकानेर में तैनात 24 रैपिड डिवीजन की ओर से कर्नल संजीव यादव ने भी कार्यक्रम में हिस्सा लिया। 24 रैपिड डिवीजन के अन्य सैन्य अधिकारियों के साथ-साथ 4 ग्रेनेडियर्स के कमांडिंग ऑफिसर और अन्य सैन्य अधिकारी भी श्रद्धांजलि सभा में उपस्थित रहे और अमर शहीद कैप्टन चंद्र चौधरी को नमन किया।
शहीद स्मारक पर पुष्प अर्पित किए जाने के दौरान पूरा माहौल देशभक्ति और भावनाओं से ओतप्रोत नजर आया। सैन्य वर्दी में मौजूद अधिकारियों और पूर्व सैनिकों ने शहीद कैप्टन चंद्र चौधरी के सर्वोच्च बलिदान को याद किया। कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित लोगों ने कहा कि मातृभूमि की रक्षा के लिए अपने प्राण न्योछावर करने वाले सैनिकों का बलिदान किसी एक परिवार या क्षेत्र तक सीमित नहीं होता, बल्कि पूरा राष्ट्र उनके त्याग का ऋणी रहता है।
कैप्टन चंद्र चौधरी की स्मृति में आयोजित यह श्रद्धांजलि सभा केवल एक स्मरण कार्यक्रम नहीं, बल्कि नई पीढ़ी को उनके साहस, कर्तव्यनिष्ठा और राष्ट्र के प्रति समर्पण से परिचित कराने का भी माध्यम बनी। कार्यक्रम के दौरान यह संदेश दिया गया कि सीमा पर तैनात प्रत्येक सैनिक के पीछे देश के करोड़ों नागरिकों का विश्वास और सुरक्षा की जिम्मेदारी जुड़ी होती है।
कार्यक्रम के अंत में प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों, पुलिस अधिकारियों, सैन्य अधिकारियों, पूर्व सैनिकों और गणमान्य नागरिकों ने एक स्वर में अमर शहीद कैप्टन चंद्र चौधरी के बलिदान को नमन किया। श्रद्धांजलि सभा का समापन इस संकल्प के साथ हुआ कि देश अपने वीर सैनिकों की शहादत को सदैव याद रखेगा।
बीकानेर की धरती पर आयोजित यह श्रद्धांजलि कार्यक्रम एक बार फिर इस भावना को मजबूत कर गया कि मातृभूमि की रक्षा के लिए सर्वोच्च बलिदान देने वाले वीर जवानों की शहादत कभी भुलाई नहीं जा सकती।

Bikaner Pays Tribute to Martyr Captain Chandra Chaudhary on His 24th Martyrdom Anniversary; Collector Nishant Jain, SP Mridul Kachawa and Military Officers Pay Homage
BIKANER: Bikaner on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, paid a heartfelt tribute to Amar Shaheed Captain Chandra Chaudhary on the occasion of his 24th martyrdom anniversary. A solemn tribute ceremony was organised at the Amar Shaheed Captain Chandra Chaudhary Circle, where senior administrative and police officials, serving military officers, veterans and dignitaries gathered to remember the brave officer and his supreme sacrifice for the nation.
Bikaner District Collector Nishant Jain and Superintendent of Police Mridul Kachawa, along with senior officials from the administration and police department, attended the ceremony and paid floral tribute to Captain Chandra Chaudhary. The gathering remembered his courage, dedication and supreme commitment to the defence of the nation.
Officials and veterans emphasised that the sacrifice of soldiers who lay down their lives in the line of duty remains an enduring source of inspiration for generations. They said that the contribution of India’s brave soldiers goes far beyond their individual units or families, as the entire nation remains indebted to their service and sacrifice.
A particularly emotional presence at the ceremony was that of Sharda Chaudhary, wife of the late Captain Chandra Chaudhary. Sharda Chaudhary currently serves as a Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officer. She paid tribute to her late husband and remembered his contribution and supreme sacrifice for the country.
The ceremony was also attended by District Sainik Welfare Officer Colonel Mohan Singh from Phalodi, retired Army officer Colonel Hem Singh Shekhawat, along with a large number of veterans and military personnel. Representing the 24 Rapid Division, Colonel Sanjeev Yadav also participated in the programme. Other officers of the 24 Rapid Division, along with the Commanding Officer of 4 Grenadiers and other military officers, were present to honour the fallen soldier.
Floral tributes were offered at the memorial during the ceremony. The atmosphere remained deeply emotional and patriotic as serving military personnel and veterans in uniform paid their respects to Captain Chandra Chaudhary.
Those attending the ceremony said that the sacrifice of soldiers who give their lives defending the motherland does not belong to one family or one region alone. It becomes a part of the nation’s collective memory and serves as a lasting reminder of the courage and commitment of India’s armed forces.
The tribute ceremony also carried an important message for the younger generation — that the courage, discipline, duty and patriotism displayed by soldiers such as Captain Chandra Chaudhary must continue to inspire future generations.
The event concluded with serving officers, veterans, police and administrative officials and dignitaries collectively paying homage to the martyr and reaffirming that the nation will always remember his supreme sacrifice.
The ceremony in Bikaner once again served as a powerful reminder that the sacrifice of those who give their lives in defence of the nation can never be forgotten.
