CDS General Anil Chauhan Visits Surya Command, Addresses Officers on Modern Warfare and Jointness

CDS highlights contemporary security challenges, operational preparedness and integrated capability development during visit to Surya Command Headquarters.

General Anil Chauhan, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), visited Headquarters Surya Command and addressed officers of the Command and its formations on key aspects of national security and future warfare.

During the interaction, the CDS shared important insights on contemporary security challenges, operational preparedness, jointness among the Armed Forces, and the evolving character of modern warfare.

He emphasised the importance of integrated capability development, technology adoption, and synergy among the services to effectively respond to emerging security threats in a rapidly changing strategic environment.

General Chauhan also interacted with veterans and members of STRIVE, appreciating their enduring contribution towards nation-building, strategic thought, and strengthening the bond between serving personnel and the veteran community.
