The Combined Graduation Parade marked the commissioning of Flight Cadets of the prestigious 216th Course, a milestone that represents years of rigorous physical conditioning, academic learning, flying training and character building. A total of 244 Flight Cadets, comprising 215 men and 29 women, proudly stepped into commissioned service, embodying the modern, inclusive and technologically driven force that the Indian Air Force is evolving into. The conferment of the President’s Commission transformed these cadets into Flying Officers, binding them to the constitutional duty of defending India’s sovereignty, skies and national interests.

General Anil Chauhan, Chief of Defence Staff, reviewed the parade as the Reviewing Officer, lending strategic gravitas to the occasion. In a powerful gesture of defence diplomacy, trainees from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam also earned their Wings, underscoring India’s role as a trusted training partner in the Indo-Pacific region. Brevets were awarded to officers who completed navigation training, marking another layer of operational competence added to India’s air power structure.

Outstanding performance across training disciplines was recognised through the conferment of the Indian Air Force’s most coveted honours. Flying Officer Tanishq Aggarwal emerged as the overall best in the Pilot Course, earning the President’s Plaque and the prestigious Nawanagar Sword of Honour. Flying Officer Saksham Dobriyal was awarded the President’s Plaque for topping the Navigation stream, while Flying Officer Nitesh Kumar secured the same honour for excellence in the Ground Duty branches. These awards symbolised the relentless pursuit of excellence that defines the Air Force’s training philosophy.
CDS Articulates the Future of Warfare and Air Power
Addressing the parade, General Anil Chauhan delivered a forward-looking and strategically grounded message. He praised the immaculate turnout and high drill standards of the graduating officers while reminding them of the ethical discipline required in the profession of arms. Stressing the importance of humility and principled leadership, he highlighted the role of asymmetry in modern warfare and underlined technology as a decisive enabler. His emphasis on AI-driven data fusion, man-unmanned teaming, autonomous systems and operations in the cognitive domain reflected the evolving character of conflict.

The CDS described Operation Sindoor as a testament to the Indian Air Force’s unparalleled professionalism and operational excellence. He positioned it as a continuum guided by the JAI framework, representing Jointness, Atmanirbharta and Innovation. In a rare and symbolic gesture, Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal AP Singh flew and led a three-aircraft Kiran formation overhead, offering the first salute to the officers from the skies. The grand finale featured captivating synchronous displays by the Sarang helicopter display team and the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team, leaving the audience with a lasting impression of pride, power and precision.

हैदराबाद स्थित एयर फोर्स अकादमी, डुंडीगल में 13 दिसंबर 2025 को आयोजित संयुक्त दीक्षांत परेड भारतीय वायुसेना के लिए गौरव, परंपरा और सैन्य अनुशासन का जीवंत प्रतीक बनी। इस परेड के माध्यम से फ्लाइंग और ग्राउंड ड्यूटी शाखाओं के फ्लाइट कैडेट्स का प्री-कमिशनिंग प्रशिक्षण सफलतापूर्वक पूर्ण हुआ। परेड ग्राउंड पर अनुशासित पंक्तियां, गूंजते सैन्य धुन और आसमान में गर्जना करती वायुसेना की ताकत ने यह स्पष्ट कर दिया कि भारत की वायु शक्ति सुरक्षित हाथों में आगे बढ़ रही है।

संयुक्त दीक्षांत परेड के दौरान 216वें कोर्स के फ्लाइट कैडेट्स को राष्ट्रपति आयोग प्रदान किया गया, जो वर्षों के कठिन प्रशिक्षण, अनुशासन और समर्पण का परिणाम था। कुल 244 कैडेट्स, जिनमें 215 पुरुष और 29 महिला कैडेट्स शामिल थीं, ने फ्लाइंग ऑफिसर के रूप में भारतीय वायुसेना में औपचारिक रूप से प्रवेश किया। यह क्षण न केवल व्यक्तिगत उपलब्धि का था, बल्कि राष्ट्र की सेवा के लिए जीवन समर्पित करने की शपथ का भी था।

इस अवसर पर भारतीय नौसेना और भारतीय तटरक्षक बल के अधिकारियों को भी सफल उड़ान प्रशिक्षण के उपरांत ‘विंग्स’ प्रदान किए गए, जो भारत की त्रि-सेवा संयुक्तता की दिशा में बढ़ते कदमों को दर्शाता है। इसके साथ ही वियतनाम के समाजवादी गणराज्य से आए प्रशिक्षुओं को विंग्स प्रदान किया जाना भारत की रक्षा कूटनीति और वैश्विक विश्वास का प्रतीक बना। नेविगेशन प्रशिक्षण पूर्ण करने वाले अधिकारियों को ब्रेवेट्स प्रदान किए गए, जिससे वायुसेना की परिचालन क्षमता और सुदृढ़ हुई।

परेड के दौरान पिलाटस पीसी-7, हॉक, किरण और चेतक विमानों की समन्वित फ्लाईपास्ट ने प्रशिक्षण से युद्धक क्षमता तक की यात्रा को दर्शाया। आकाश गंगा स्काईडाइविंग टीम और एयर वॉरियर ड्रिल टीम के प्रदर्शन ने दर्शकों को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया और वायुसेना की साहसिक, सटीक और नियंत्रित शक्ति को प्रदर्शित किया।
उत्कृष्टता को मिला सम्मान
प्रशिक्षण के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में असाधारण प्रदर्शन के लिए फ्लाइंग ऑफिसर तनिष्क अग्रवाल को राष्ट्रपति का प्लाक और नवांनगर स्वॉर्ड ऑफ ऑनर प्रदान किया गया। नेविगेशन स्ट्रीम में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त करने वाले फ्लाइंग ऑफिसर सक्षम डोबरियाल और ग्राउंड ड्यूटी शाखा में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करने वाले फ्लाइंग ऑफिसर नितेश कुमार को भी राष्ट्रपति का प्लाक प्रदान किया गया। ये सम्मान वायुसेना की प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक और गुणवत्ता आधारित प्रशिक्षण संस्कृति को दर्शाते हैं।
भविष्य के युद्ध और तकनीक पर सीडीएस का दृष्टिकोण
