Empowered Women, Empowering the Future: Ranbankura Division Bikaner Celebrates International Women’s Day 2025

Bikaner : Marking the spirit of resilience, creativity, and leadership, Ranbankura Division celebrated International Women’s Day 2025 with a grand event dedicated to honoring the strength and innovation of women entrepreneurs. The event focused on recognizing the remarkable contributions of Army wives, who, despite numerous challenges, have emerged as successful entrepreneurs, role models, and community leaders.

The celebration was themed “Empowered Women, Empowering the Future” and featured an inspiring exhibition showcasing the innovative ventures of women entrepreneurs. The exhibition was a platform for Army wives to present their businesses, creative endeavors, and unique solutions that have not only contributed to their personal growth but also empowered others. From handmade crafts, organic products, and fashion accessories to digital marketing ventures and skill-based startups, the event highlighted a diverse range of enterprises led by these women.

Stories of Resilience and Triumph

One of the major highlights of the event was the sharing of real-life success stories of Army wives who turned their dreams into reality. These women, who have faced the hardships of frequent relocations, separations, and the challenges of managing families single-handedly, spoke about their journeys of breaking barriers and achieving financial independence.

Mrs. Priya Sharma, the founder of Handmade Harmony, a startup specializing in eco-friendly home decor, shared how she overcame financial struggles and societal norms to establish her brand. “As an Army wife, moving from one city to another made it difficult to pursue a stable career. But instead of giving up, I used my skills in art and design to create a home-based business. Today, my products are sold across the country, and I employ other Army wives, giving them financial independence,” she said.

Similarly, Ritu Verma, a software developer turned entrepreneur, spoke about her venture in digital marketing that provides employment opportunities to spouses of defense personnel. “Technology has given us the power to work from anywhere. I wanted to create a platform where Army wives could use their talents in writing, social media management, and design to earn and grow professionally,” she explained.

Recognizing Excellence & Encouraging Growth

The event also included an award ceremony where women entrepreneurs were felicitated for their outstanding contributions. Senior Army officials and dignitaries lauded their efforts and emphasized the importance of self-reliance and skill development. Speaking at the event, a senior officer remarked, “Empowerment begins with opportunity. The resilience and innovation of these women prove that no obstacle is too great to overcome. Their achievements are not just personal victories but also a source of inspiration for the entire community.”

A series of workshops and panel discussions were also conducted to provide women with insights into financial literacy, digital marketing strategies, and business expansion techniques. Experts from various fields guided the attendees on how to scale their businesses and explore new opportunities.

A Step Towards a Brighter Future

The International Women’s Day celebrations at Ranbankura Division reinforced the message that empowered women are the pillars of a progressive society. By providing platforms for their voices, encouraging skill development, and supporting their entrepreneurial ventures, the event aimed to inspire countless others to follow their dreams.

As the program concluded, the energy in the air was one of determination and hope. The success stories of these Army wives serve as a testament that with perseverance, creativity, and the right support, women can turn challenges into opportunities and redefine the future.

With initiatives like these, Ranbankura Division continues to uphold the spirit of Nari Shakti—celebrating the strength, courage, and brilliance of women who are shaping the world, one step at a time.
