Gold worth 3.5 crores caught at Jaipur airport, DRI’s big action

Jaipur. Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Rajasthan (DRI) has again got a big success at Jaipur Airport. On Wednesday for the second consecutive day after Tuesday, the department made a big disclosure of smuggling of gold worth more than two crore 62 lakhs. The department has caught smuggling gold worth 3.5 crores in two days. Gold iron and two hammers were recovered from the smuggler’s bag. In which about 5 kg of gold was hidden.Three kg of gold has been found in iron, while one kg of gold has been confiscated from two hammers. The department is now looking for gold smugglers by taking records from the airline company. DRI officials said that the gold smuggler had already come to Jaipur and his bag left behind in Sharjah reached Jaipur on Wednesday. We got information about this. Based on which the bag was checked. Gold worth more than 2 crore 62 lakh has been found in the bag. The department had also caught smuggled gold worth 55 lakhs on Tuesday.

After having caught gold worth crores, DRI is continuously investigating it. Along with this, efforts are being made to gather information by interrogating the suspects, where the gold was to be delivered. Who are involved in gold smuggling? 55 lakh gold was caught on Tuesday
Let us inform that DRI had also seized one kg of gold on Tuesday. The value of this gold was estimated at Rs 55 lakh. Three different smugglers had brought gold from Sharjah. Gold was recovered after catching two at the airport itself. The third was four gold balls. After that he was admitted to the hospital.
