Indian Army and Jodhpur Railway Officials Strengthen Military-Civil Coordination at Additional Rail Facilities Conclave
Jodhpur, Rajasthan: In a significant step towards strengthening military-civil coordination and enhancing operational preparedness, Jodhpur Sub Area organised an ‘Additional Rail Facilities Conclave’ at Jodhpur Military Station. The conclave brought together representatives of the Indian Army and officials of the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Jodhpur Division, North Western Railway, to improve coordination in planning and executing critical railway infrastructure and support facilities.
The initiative focused on strengthening synergy between the Indian Army and railway authorities, recognising the vital role of rail infrastructure in military logistics, the movement of personnel and equipment, and the timely mobilisation of resources during operational requirements. Improved coordination between the two organisations is essential for ensuring efficient transportation arrangements and strengthening logistical support for the Armed Forces.
The conclave also highlighted the importance of a coordinated approach to addressing infrastructure requirements and facilitating seamless communication between military formations and railway officials. Such engagements help identify logistical challenges, improve planning mechanisms and enhance the responsiveness of support systems during demanding operational situations.
The initiative reaffirmed Konark Corps’ commitment to the concept of Military-Civil Fusion, under which military formations and civilian institutions work together to strengthen national preparedness and operational effectiveness.
With railways serving as a crucial component of India’s strategic transportation network, stronger Army-railway coordination can contribute significantly to logistical efficiency and the rapid movement of essential resources whenever required.
The conclave underscored the Indian Army’s continued emphasis on building robust logistical networks, strengthening inter-agency cooperation and maintaining a high level of operational readiness in the region.

भारतीय सेना और रेलवे के बीच मजबूत होगा समन्वय, जोधपुर मिलिट्री स्टेशन पर आयोजित हुआ ‘अतिरिक्त रेल सुविधाएं सम्मेलन’
जोधपुर, राजस्थान: भारतीय सेना की परिचालन तैयारियों और सैन्य लॉजिस्टिक्स को अधिक प्रभावी बनाने की दिशा में जोधपुर सब एरिया की ओर से जोधपुर मिलिट्री स्टेशन पर ‘अतिरिक्त रेल सुविधाएं सम्मेलन’ (Additional Rail Facilities Conclave) का आयोजन किया गया। सम्मेलन में भारतीय सेना और उत्तर पश्चिम रेलवे के जोधपुर मंडल के अधिकारियों ने भाग लिया। इसका मुख्य उद्देश्य सैन्य आवश्यकताओं से जुड़ी महत्वपूर्ण रेल सुविधाओं के नियोजन और क्रियान्वयन में बेहतर तालमेल स्थापित करना था।
सम्मेलन के दौरान भारतीय सेना और रेलवे प्रशासन के बीच समन्वय को मजबूत बनाने पर जोर दिया गया। सैन्य अभियानों के दौरान जवानों, सैन्य उपकरणों और आवश्यक संसाधनों की समयबद्ध आवाजाही में रेलवे की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका होती है। ऐसे में सैन्य अधिकारियों और रेलवे प्रशासन के बीच प्रभावी तालमेल परिचालन आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने तथा लॉजिस्टिक व्यवस्था को अधिक सक्षम बनाने में अहम योगदान दे सकता है।
बैठक में महत्वपूर्ण रेल सुविधाओं और सैन्य परिवहन से संबंधित आवश्यकताओं के नियोजन एवं क्रियान्वयन में बेहतर समन्वय की आवश्यकता को रेखांकित किया गया। सेना और रेलवे के बीच नियमित संवाद से आधारभूत सुविधाओं से जुड़े मुद्दों को प्रभावी ढंग से समझने, संसाधनों के बेहतर उपयोग और जरूरत के समय परिवहन व्यवस्था को अधिक तत्पर बनाने में मदद मिल सकती है।
इस पहल के माध्यम से कोणार्क कोर ने मिलिट्री-सिविल फ्यूजन यानी सैन्य और नागरिक संस्थानों के बीच बेहतर तालमेल के प्रति अपनी प्रतिबद्धता दोहराई। इसका उद्देश्य सैन्य संस्थानों और नागरिक प्रशासन के बीच सहयोग बढ़ाकर क्षेत्र में राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा से जुड़ी तैयारियों तथा भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों की परिचालन क्षमता को मजबूत करना है।
भारत के रणनीतिक परिवहन नेटवर्क में रेलवे की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका को देखते हुए सेना और रेलवे के बीच बेहतर समन्वय सैन्य लॉजिस्टिक्स को अधिक प्रभावी बनाने में सहायक हो सकता है। यह पहल सैन्य संसाधनों की आवाजाही, परिवहन संबंधी आवश्यकताओं और परिचालन तैयारियों को बेहतर बनाने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण मानी जा रही है।
यह सम्मेलन भारतीय सेना की उस व्यापक रणनीति को दर्शाता है, जिसके तहत मजबूत लॉजिस्टिक नेटवर्क, विभिन्न संस्थानों के बीच बेहतर तालमेल और त्वरित प्रतिक्रिया क्षमता के माध्यम से क्षेत्र में परिचालन तत्परता को मजबूत करने पर ध्यान दिया जा रहा है।
