KONARK “VIJAY DIWAS” MULTI MODAL EXPEDITION
A multimodal expedition is being undertaken under the aegis of HQ 12 Corps to commemorate the 51st Anniversary of 1971 Indo Pak War. The expedition will be conducted from 04 Dec to 16 Dec 2023, coinciding with the dts of the actual ops and will culminate on 22 Dec 2023.
This memorial expedition has been conceived as a multi modal expedition comprising of multi activities, spreading across the states of Rajasthan and Gujarat. Since all government agencies had actively participated in the 1971 Ops, hence, in the same spirit the expedition seeks to acknowledge and honour the role of all agencies by including them in this expedition, namely IA, IAF, IN, ICG, BSF, State Police Force & Civ Adm.
Multiple events to include Bike Rally, Car Rally, Cycle Rally, Camel Safari, Sailing, Half Marathon,Story Board Procession & Sky Diving will be conducted as part of the expedition.
