In a remarkable confluence of military leadership and entrepreneurial spirit, Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander of the prestigious Sapta Shakti Command, attended the prominent event “FLO Swadesh”, organised by the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), Jaipur Chapter, as the Chief Guest. The event brought together an inspiring assembly of women entrepreneurs, professionals, senior military officials, and dignitaries, celebrating the essence of leadership, nation-building, and the extraordinary contributions of Nari Shakti across all domains.

Armed Forces & Women Power: Pillars of a Progressive Nation

Addressing the vast audience comprising some of Jaipur’s most accomplished women entrepreneurs and professionals, Lt Gen Manjinder Singh shed light on the crucial role played by the Indian Armed Forces in safeguarding national security, ensuring peace, and contributing to the nation’s development. He eloquently highlighted how the Indian Army is not merely a military force but a symbol of unwavering discipline, courage, and sacrifice.

He also underscored the significant strides made by women in the Indian Army and the broader defence ecosystem. From serving in combat support roles to leading critical operations and representing India in international military forums, women have shattered glass ceilings and are shaping the future of the Armed Forces.

The Army Commander’s words served as an inspiration to the gathering, reinforcing the message that leadership knows no gender, and determination, courage, and dedication can empower individuals to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s progress.

Strengthening Military-Civil Society Bonds through AWWA & FICCI FLO Collaboration

A major highlight of the event was the reaffirmation of the growing association between FICCI FLO and the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA), an organisation deeply committed to the welfare and empowerment of army families, especially women.

As a meaningful gesture and to further cement this bond, the Chairperson of FICCI FLO, Jaipur Chapter, announced a generous contribution of ₹4 lakhs towards AWWA’s noble initiatives. This contribution marks a significant step in extending civil society’s support to the welfare programmes for army families, widows, and children, enhancing their access to education, health, skill development, and financial independence.

A Platform for Recognising Women Entrepreneurs and Defence Families

The event was attended by several senior officers and families from the Sapta Shakti Command, along with eminent dignitaries from FICCI FLO. It provided a unique platform to acknowledge the achievements of women entrepreneurs of Rajasthan and honour the sacrifices, resilience, and contributions of army families, especially women, in nation-building.

Lt Gen Manjinder Singh’s presence at FLO Swadesh symbolised the Armed Forces’ unwavering commitment to fostering inclusive growth, empowering women, and strengthening bonds between the military and civil society.

A Salute to Nari Shakti

राजस्थान की राजधानी जयपुर में भारतीय सेना और उद्यमिता जगत का एक अद्वितीय संगम देखने को मिला, जब प्रतिष्ठित सप्त शक्ति कमान के आर्मी कमांडर लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मनजिंदर सिंह ने FICCI FLO जयपुर चैप्टर द्वारा आयोजित ‘FLO स्वदेश’ कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शिरकत की। यह कार्यक्रम महिला सशक्तिकरण, नेतृत्व, राष्ट्र निर्माण और सेना तथा नागरिक समाज के बीच सहयोग को मजबूत करने के उद्देश्य से आयोजित किया गया।

राष्ट्र निर्माण में भारतीय सेना और नारी शक्ति की भूमिका

जयपुर की जानी-मानी महिला उद्यमियों और पेशेवरों को संबोधित करते हुए लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मनजिंदर सिंह ने भारतीय सेना की भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय सेना न केवल देश की सीमाओं की रक्षा करती है, बल्कि अनुशासन, साहस और बलिदान का प्रतीक है।

उन्होंने सेना में महिलाओं की बढ़ती भागीदारी पर विशेष जोर दिया। उन्होंने बताया कि आज महिलाएं न केवल युद्धक सहयोगी भूमिकाओं में बल्कि रणनीतिक संचालन, तकनीकी क्षेत्रों और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मंचों पर भी भारतीय सेना का गौरव बढ़ा रही हैं। यह बदलाव देश की सैन्य शक्ति में विविधता और दक्षता का परिचायक है।

उनकी बातों ने कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित सभी महिलाओं को प्रेरित किया कि नेतृत्व किसी लिंग का मोहताज नहीं, बल्कि साहस, संकल्प और समर्पण से ही व्यक्ति राष्ट्र निर्माण में अपनी प्रभावशाली भूमिका निभा सकता है।

AWWA और FICCI FLO के सहयोग को मिला नया आयाम

कार्यक्रम की एक प्रमुख उपलब्धि FICCI FLO और आर्मी वाइव्स वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन (AWWA) के बीच सहयोग को और मजबूत करना रहा। AWWA सेना परिवारों, विशेष रूप से महिलाओं और शहीद सैनिकों के परिवारों के कल्याण के लिए समर्पित संगठन है।

FICCI FLO जयपुर चैप्टर की चेयरपर्सन ने AWWA की कल्याणकारी पहलों में सहयोग के रूप में ₹4 लाख की धनराशि प्रदान करने की घोषणा की। यह सहयोग भारतीय सेना के परिवारों, महिलाओं, विधवाओं और बच्चों के लिए शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, कौशल विकास और आर्थिक आत्मनिर्भरता को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम है।

महिला उद्यमियों और सेना परिवारों के लिए साझा मंच

इस अवसर पर सप्त शक्ति कमान के कई वरिष्ठ अधिकारी, उनके परिवार, FICCI FLO से जुड़े गणमान्य व्यक्ति और जयपुर की जानी-मानी महिलाएं उपस्थित रहीं। यह मंच महिलाओं की उपलब्धियों का सम्मान करने और सेना परिवारों, विशेष रूप से महिलाओं द्वारा राष्ट्र निर्माण में दिए गए योगदान की सराहना करने का अवसर बना।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान ‘नारी शक्ति’ के प्रति सम्मान और समर्थन का भाव हर ओर महसूस किया गया। आज भारत वैश्विक मंच पर अपनी मजबूत उपस्थिति दर्ज करवा रहा है और इसमें महिलाओं की सक्रिय भागीदारी बेहद महत्वपूर्ण है। चाहे वह सेना हो, व्यापार हो, प्रशासन हो या सामाजिक सेवा — हर क्षेत्र में महिलाओं की भूमिका राष्ट्र की ताकत का प्रतीक बन चुकी है।

सप्त शक्ति कमान राजस्थान में तैनात भारतीय सेना की वह इकाई है, जो न केवल सीमा सुरक्षा में अहम भूमिका निभा रही है, बल्कि महिला सशक्तिकरण और सामाजिक सहयोग के प्रयासों में भी अग्रणी भूमिका निभा रही है।
