Lt Gen Prasanna Kishore Mishra Reviews Operational Preparedness Along LoC in Poonch
White Knight Corps Commander assesses counter-infiltration grid, surveillance systems and combat readiness in forward areas.

Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, General Officer Commanding of the White Knight Corps, accompanied by the GOC of the Ace of Spades Division, visited forward areas in Poonch to review the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness along the Line of Control (LoC).

During the visit, Lt Gen Mishra was briefed on the counter-infiltration grid, surveillance architecture, and integrated operational measures instituted to maintain firm operational dominance in the area of responsibility.

The review highlighted robust synergy among all stakeholders, continued vigilance, technology infusion, and adaptive preparedness aimed at effectively countering emerging threats in the region.

The Corps Commander also interacted with troops deployed in the forward areas and appreciated their high morale, combat readiness, and steadfast commitment despite challenging terrain and adverse operational conditions.

The visit reaffirmed the Indian Army’s continued focus on operational excellence, integrated response, and technology-enabled security measures along the Line of Control.
