Lt Gen V.S. Deshpande Reviews Operational Preparedness of Amogh, Ranbankura Divisions and Sand Vipers Brigade
Sri Ganganagar/Bikaner: Lieutenant General V.S. Deshpande, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Chetak Corps, visited the Amogh Division in Sri Ganganagar, Ranbankura Division in Bikaner and Sand Vipers Brigade to review their operational preparedness and combat readiness.
During his visit, Lt Gen Deshpande assessed the formations’ overall operational preparedness and reviewed their readiness to respond effectively to emerging security challenges. He interacted with troops and commanders and emphasised the importance of maintaining a high state of vigilance, adaptability and operational effectiveness.
The GOC also paid homage to the brave soldiers at the Asafwala and Nagi War Memorials, remembering the personnel who made the supreme sacrifice in the defence of the nation.
Lt Gen V.S. Deshpande commended the formations for their commitment, professionalism and operational preparedness. He exhorted all ranks to remain vigilant, adaptive and future-ready, with a continued focus on maintaining a high level of combat readiness.
The visit underlines the Indian Army’s continued emphasis on operational preparedness and the ability of formations deployed in strategically important areas to remain combat-ready and mission-ready at all times.

श्रीगंगानगर/बीकानेर: चेतक कोर के जनरल ऑफिसर कमांडिंग लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल वी.एस. देशपांडे ने श्रीगंगानगर स्थित अमोघ डिवीजन, बीकानेर स्थित रणबांकुरा डिवीजन और सैंड वाइपर्स ब्रिगेड का दौरा कर उनकी परिचालन तैयारियों और युद्धक क्षमता की समीक्षा की।
दौरे के दौरान लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल देशपांडे ने सैन्य संरचनाओं की ऑपरेशनल प्रिपेयर्डनेस और कॉम्बैट रेडीनेस का जायजा लिया। उन्होंने कमांडरों और जवानों से बातचीत करते हुए बदलती सुरक्षा परिस्थितियों के अनुरूप हर समय तैयार रहने पर जोर दिया।
लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल देशपांडे ने आसफवाला और नागी वॉर मेमोरियल पहुंचकर देश की रक्षा में सर्वोच्च बलिदान देने वाले वीर सैनिकों को श्रद्धांजलि भी अर्पित की। उन्होंने शहीदों के अदम्य साहस और बलिदान को नमन करते हुए सैन्य परंपराओं और राष्ट्र सेवा की भावना को स्मरण किया।
जीओसी चेतक कोर ने संबंधित सैन्य संरचनाओं की प्रतिबद्धता, पेशेवर दक्षता और परिचालन तैयारियों की सराहना की। उन्होंने सभी रैंकों को सतर्क, परिस्थितियों के अनुरूप तेजी से ढलने वाला और भविष्य की चुनौतियों के लिए तैयार रहने का आह्वान किया।
यह दौरा पश्चिमी क्षेत्र में तैनात भारतीय सेना की इकाइयों की उच्च स्तरीय परिचालन तत्परता बनाए रखने और किसी भी संभावित सुरक्षा चुनौती का प्रभावी ढंग से सामना करने की क्षमता को लगातार मजबूत करने के प्रयासों को दर्शाता है।
