Mahaveer International Veera East Delhi Centre Extends Helping Hand to Orphaned and Abandoned Infants at Matri Chhaya Orphanage
New Delhi, July 27, 2026: In a heartfelt initiative dedicated to service, compassion and humanity, the Veera East Delhi Centre of Mahaveer International organised an Orphanage Visit and Service Programme at Seva Bharati Matri Chhaya Orphanage in Paharganj, New Delhi, on Monday, July 27, 2026. The programme was aimed at extending meaningful support to the institution engaged in the care, protection and upbringing of orphaned and abandoned infants, while also strengthening the spirit of social responsibility and compassion towards vulnerable sections of society.
As part of the service initiative, the Veera East Delhi Centre donated essential items worth approximately ₹20,000 to the orphanage. The assistance included two wooden beds, a blackboard, a feeding chair, a baby pram/stroller and clothes. The material provided by the organisation is expected to support the day-to-day requirements of the children and contribute towards creating a more comfortable and supportive environment for their care and upbringing.
The initiative reflected the organisation’s commitment to the principle that service to society is not merely an act of charity but a collective responsibility. नई दिल्ली, 27 जुलाई 2026: सेवा, संवेदना और मानवता को समर्पित महावीर इंटरनेशनल के वीरा पूर्वी दिल्ली केंद्र की ओर से सोमवार, 27 जुलाई 2026 को सेवा भारती मातृ छाया अनाथ आश्रम, पहाड़गंज में विशेष “अनाथ आश्रम भ्रमण एवं सेवा कार्यक्रम” का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य अनाथ एवं परित्यक्त शिशुओं की देखभाल में सहयोग प्रदान करना, आश्रम की आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने में अपनी भागीदारी निभाना तथा समाज में सेवा, करुणा और मानवीय संवेदनाओं की भावना को और मजबूत करना रहा।
इस सेवा कार्यक्रम के तहत महावीर इंटरनेशनल वीरा पूर्वी दिल्ली केंद्र की ओर से आश्रम को लगभग ₹20,000 मूल्य की आवश्यक एवं उपयोगी सामग्री भेंट की गई। संस्था द्वारा उपलब्ध कराई गई सामग्री में दो लकड़ी के बेड, एक ब्लैकबोर्ड, एक फीडिंग चेयर, एक प्रैम यानी बेबी स्ट्रॉलर तथा बच्चों के लिए वस्त्र शामिल रहे।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान महावीर इंटरनेशनल वीरा पूर्वी दिल्ली केंद्र की वीरा बहनों ने आश्रम का भ्रमण किया और वहां रह रहे बच्चों की देखभाल एवं पालन-पोषण में जुटे कार्यकर्ताओं से मुलाकात की। इस दौरान उन्होंने आश्रम में बच्चों के लिए उपलब्ध व्यवस्थाओं को देखा और बच्चों की दिन-प्रतिदिन की देखभाल में लगे कर्मचारियों एवं कार्यकर्ताओं के समर्पण और सेवाभाव की सराहना की।
