महावीर इंटरनेशनल गंगाना वीरा केंद्र का पर्यावरण संरक्षण अभियान, विद्यालय में किया वृक्षारोपण; ‘एक पेड़, अनेक जीवन’ का दिया संदेश
बीकानेर: महावीर इंटरनेशनल के सेवा पखवाड़े के अंतर्गत चलाए जा रहे पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं वृक्षारोपण अभियान के तहत गंगाना वीरा केंद्र द्वारा राजकीय उच्च माध्यमिक विद्या निकेतन विद्यालय में वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति जनजागरूकता फैलाना तथा विद्यार्थियों में प्रकृति के प्रति जिम्मेदारी की भावना विकसित करना था।
अभियान के दौरान विद्यालय परिसर में नीम, गुलमोहर एवं मोरिंगा सहित विभिन्न छायादार और औषधीय पौधे लगाए गए। वृक्षारोपण में विद्यालय के छात्र-छात्राओं ने भी उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया और पौधों के संरक्षण का संकल्प लिया।
गंगाना वीरा केंद्र की अध्यक्ष वीरा चंद्रकला भूरा ने विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि एक पेड़ केवल पर्यावरण को ही नहीं बचाता, बल्कि अनेक जीवों के जीवन का आधार बनता है। उन्होंने बच्चों से पौधों की नियमित देखभाल करने और पर्यावरण संरक्षण में सक्रिय भूमिका निभाने का आह्वान किया।
इस अवसर पर डॉ. संगीता जैन ने विद्यार्थियों को नीम एवं मोरिंगा के औषधीय गुणों की विस्तृत जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि ये दोनों वृक्ष स्वास्थ्य की दृष्टि से अत्यंत लाभकारी हैं तथा इनके नियमित उपयोग से अनेक रोगों की रोकथाम में सहायता मिलती है।
विद्यालय की प्रधानाचार्या अनुराधा जैन ने महावीर इंटरनेशनल गंगाना वीरा केंद्र का आभार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि विद्यालय में लगाए गए पौधों की नियमित देखभाल और सिंचाई की जाती है। उन्होंने कहा कि “एक पेड़, अनेक जीवन” का संदेश समाज को पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए प्रेरित करता है।
कार्यक्रम के अंत में केंद्र की सचिव सरिता नाहटा ने सभी अतिथियों, शिक्षकों एवं विद्यार्थियों का आभार व्यक्त किया। इस अवसर पर वीरा सरिता आंचलिया सहित केंद्र की अन्य सदस्याएं भी उपस्थित रहीं।
Mahavir International Gangana Veera Kendra Launches Tree Plantation Drive, Promotes the Message ‘One Tree, Many Lives’
Bikaner: As part of Mahavir International’s Service Fortnight and its environmental conservation campaign, Gangana Veera Kendra organised a tree plantation drive at Government Senior Secondary Vidya Niketan School, encouraging students to actively participate in protecting nature.
During the campaign, saplings of Neem, Gulmohar, and Moringa were planted across the school campus with enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and members of the organisation. The initiative aimed to spread awareness about environmental conservation and inspire young minds to take responsibility for preserving greenery.
Veera Kendra President Veera Chandrakala Bhura addressed the students and highlighted the importance of trees in sustaining life. She emphasised that planting and nurturing trees is one of the most meaningful contributions individuals can make towards safeguarding the environment for future generations.
On the occasion, Dr. Sangeeta Jain explained the medicinal and health benefits of Neem and Moringa, describing them as highly valuable trees with significant therapeutic properties that contribute to both environmental and human well-being.
School Principal Anuradha Jain appreciated the initiative and assured that the institution regularly maintains and waters all the plants on its campus. She thanked Mahavir International Gangana Veera Kendra for the meaningful initiative and reiterated the campaign’s message that “One Tree Supports Many Lives.”
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Sarita Nahata, Secretary of the Veera Kendra. Veera Sarita Aanchaliya and other members of the organisation were also present during the plantation drive, reaffirming their commitment to environmental protection and community service.
