महावीर इंटरनेशनल वीरा पूर्वी दिल्ली केंद्र ने 50 किशोरियों को वितरित की सेनेटरी किट, मासिक धर्म स्वच्छता एवं महिला स्वास्थ्य पर किया जागरूक
नई दिल्ली: महावीर इंटरनेशनल के वीरा पूर्वी दिल्ली केंद्र द्वारा 9 जुलाई 2026 को आर्य समाज मंदिर, प्रीत विहार में सेनेटरी नैपकिन वितरण एवं मासिक धर्म जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य किशोरियों को मासिक धर्म (पीरियड्स) से जुड़ी सही जानकारी देना, व्यक्तिगत स्वच्छता के प्रति जागरूक करना तथा महिला स्वास्थ्य को बढ़ावा देना था।
कार्यक्रम में लगभग 50 किशोरियों ने भाग लिया। इस अवसर पर चेयरपर्सन वीरा नीलू जैन ने मासिक धर्म से जुड़े सामान्य तथ्यों, व्यक्तिगत स्वच्छता, संक्रमण से बचाव और सुरक्षित स्वास्थ्य संबंधी महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी सरल एवं प्रभावी ढंग से साझा की। उन्होंने किशोरियों को नियमित रूप से स्वच्छ सेनेटरी नैपकिन का उपयोग करने, समय-समय पर उन्हें बदलने तथा मासिक धर्म के दौरान उचित स्वच्छता बनाए रखने के महत्व के बारे में विस्तार से बताया।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान किशोरियों ने भी खुलकर संवाद किया और मासिक धर्म से जुड़े विभिन्न प्रश्न एवं जिज्ञासाएँ साझा कीं। इस संवादात्मक सत्र ने अनेक भ्रांतियों को दूर करने के साथ-साथ उन्हें वैज्ञानिक और सही जानकारी प्रदान करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई।
इसके बाद सभी 50 किशोरियों को सेनेटरी किट वितरित की गईं, ताकि वे मासिक धर्म के दौरान बेहतर स्वच्छता बनाए रख सकें और अपने स्वास्थ्य के प्रति अधिक जागरूक बनें।
इस अवसर पर चेयरपर्सन वीरा नीलू जैन, उपाध्यक्ष वीरा अनुलेखा शाह, कोषाध्यक्ष वीरा बीना श्रीमाल, वीरा मीनल गांधी, वीरा राखी दुगड़ एवं वीरा विमला जैन ने सक्रिय सहभागिता निभाई और कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई।
महावीर इंटरनेशनल वीरा पूर्वी दिल्ली केंद्र की यह पहल महिला स्वास्थ्य, मासिक धर्म स्वच्छता और किशोरियों में जागरूकता बढ़ाने की दिशा में एक प्रेरणादायक सामाजिक सेवा अभियान रही।
Mahavir International Veera East Delhi Centre Organises Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Drive, Distributes Sanitary Kits to 50 Adolescent Girls
New Delhi: Mahavir International’s Veera East Delhi Centre organised a Menstrual Hygiene Awareness and Sanitary Kit Distribution Programme at Arya Samaj Mandir, Preet Vihar, on July 9, 2026, to educate adolescent girls about menstrual health, personal hygiene, and overall well-being.
Around 50 adolescent girls participated in the programme. Chairperson Veera Neelu Jain conducted an interactive awareness session, explaining the importance of menstrual hygiene, infection prevention, and the regular use of clean sanitary napkins. She also emphasized the need to change sanitary pads at regular intervals and maintain proper hygiene during menstruation.
The participants actively engaged in the discussion, openly sharing their questions and concerns related to menstruation. The interactive session helped dispel common myths and provided scientifically accurate information, encouraging the girls to adopt healthy menstrual hygiene practices with confidence.
Following the awareness session, 50 sanitary kits were distributed to the participants to support safe menstrual hygiene and improve awareness about women’s health.
The programme was attended by Chairperson Veera Neelu Jain, Vice Chairperson Veera Anulekha Shah, Treasurer Veera Beena Shrimali, Veera Meenal Gandhi, Veera Rakhi Dugad, and Veera Vimla Jain, who actively participated in the initiative.
The programme reflected Mahavir International Veera East Delhi Centre’s continued commitment to promoting menstrual health awareness, women’s hygiene, and community welfare through meaningful social service initiatives.
