Mahavir International Veera East Delhi Conducts Service Programme at Two Leprosy Care Centres

Mahavir International’s Veera East Delhi Centre organised a humanitarian service programme on July 14, 2026, at Kasturba Gram Leprosy Ashram and Anand Gram Leprosy Patients Welfare Committee. The initiative aimed to offer support, dignity, and compassion to residents living with leprosy through personal interaction and essential assistance.
During the programme, Veera members met and interacted with more than 328 residents (187 at Kasturba Gram and 141 at Anand Gram), enquired about their well-being, and spent time with them to provide emotional support. The team distributed refreshments, clothing, and medical gauze used for wound dressing, bringing comfort and joy to the beneficiaries.
The service initiative was supported financially by Veera Vinita Jain, Chairperson Veera Neelu Jain, and Veera Preeti Jain. Chairperson Veera Neelu Jain and Veera Vinita Jain also actively participated in the programme, reinforcing the values of compassion, humanity, and social service.
The programme highlighted that small acts of kindness, respect, and care can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.

महावीर इंटरनेशनल के वीरा पूर्वी दिल्ली केंद्र द्वारा मंगलवार, 14 जुलाई 2026 को कस्तूरबा ग्राम कुष्ठ आश्रम एवं आनंद ग्राम कुष्ठ रोगी कल्याण समिति में सेवा कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य आश्रमों में निवास कर रहे रोगियों से आत्मीय मुलाकात कर उन्हें सम्मान, सहयोग और अपनत्व का अनुभव कराना था।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान वीरा बहनों ने दोनों आश्रमों के कुल 328 से अधिक रोगियों (187 एवं 141) से मुलाकात कर उनका कुशलक्षेम जाना और आत्मीय संवाद किया। इसके पश्चात सभी लाभार्थियों को अल्पाहार, वस्त्र एवं ड्रेसिंग के लिए उपयोगी गॉज़ वितरित किए गए। आवश्यक सामग्री प्राप्त कर सभी रोगियों ने प्रसन्नता व्यक्त की।
इस सेवा कार्य के लिए वीरा विनीता जैन, चेयरपर्सन वीरा नीलू जैन तथा वीरा प्रीति जैन ने आर्थिक सहयोग प्रदान किया। कार्यक्रम में चेयरपर्सन वीरा नीलू जैन एवं वीरा विनीता जैन ने सक्रिय सहभागिता निभाते हुए रोगियों के साथ समय बिताया और सेवा, करुणा तथा मानवता का संदेश दिया।
यह सेवा कार्यक्रम इस बात का प्रेरणादायक उदाहरण बना कि स्नेह, सम्मान और सहयोग के छोटे-छोटे प्रयास भी किसी के जीवन में नई आशा, आत्मविश्वास और मुस्कान ला सकते हैं।
