Navy Children School, Delhi Marks Diamond Jubilee Annual Day 2025 with Splendour and Patriotic Zeal
New Delhi, August 30 – Navy Children School (NCS), Delhi, one of the country’s premier educational institutions nurtured under the aegis of the Indian Navy, celebrated its Diamond Jubilee Annual Day 2025 on 29 August with grandeur and fervour at Talkatora Indoor Stadium. The event, themed “Swadesh Anurag – Love for One’s Country”, was not only a cultural showcase but also a stirring tribute to India’s journey of growth, resilience, and patriotism.
The celebrations were graced by Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff, and Mrs Shashi Tripathi, President NWWA, as Chief Guests. The gathering also included senior Naval officers, distinguished invitees, proud parents, and alumni, reflecting the school’s strong bond with the naval fraternity and society at large.
A Cultural Tapestry of National Pride
The stage came alive with vibrant performances by the students of NCS Delhi. From an elegant classical dance recital symbolizing India’s cultural roots, to a patriotic performance by students with special needs that drew thunderous applause, every act resonated with the theme of national pride. The highlight of the evening was a powerful choreo-drama, blending music, drama, and dance to narrate the story of India’s march towards progress and the indomitable spirit of its Armed Forces.
The emotional crescendo came with a tribute to the nation and its defenders, leaving the audience inspired and teary-eyed with pride.
Special Releases Marking the Jubilee Year
To commemorate 60 years of the school’s glorious journey, a ‘Diamond Jubilee Song’, specially composed by the teachers of NCS Delhi and brought to life with visuals created with the support of NWWA, was released by Mrs Shashi Tripathi.
Additionally, two important publications were unveiled:
- The Diamond Jubilee Edition of ‘Anchor’, the school magazine, chronicling achievements and creativity of students.
- ‘A Fleet of Tales’, a book featuring short stories written by the students of NCS Delhi, celebrating young literary talent.
Chief of Naval Staff’s Inspiring Address
In his keynote address, Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi lauded the school for its outstanding performance in academics, sports, and co-curricular pursuits. He acknowledged the institution’s efforts in upgrading academic facilities and infrastructure, ensuring holistic growth of its students.
Drawing from his five-decade-long journey in uniform that began at Sainik School, Rewa, the Navy Chief urged the students to embrace self-discipline, calling it an “invisible superpower” that makes individuals stronger, smarter, and sharper.
He emphasized the importance of reading, perseverance, humility coupled with confidence, and encouraged students to dream big, work hard, and cultivate qualities of self-awareness, selflessness, and self-confidence. Admiral Tripathi also highlighted the importance of giving back to society and expressed confidence that the spirit of NCS students will contribute meaningfully to India’s march towards Viksit Bharat @2047.
Honouring Excellence
The evening also witnessed the conferring of the prestigious Capt Mahendra Nath Mulla Memorial Award for the best all-rounder students of Academic Year 2024-25. The award was presented to Master Manil Kumar and Ms Khushi Janghu by the family members of Capt MN Mulla, MVC, honouring his legacy of courage and sacrifice.
The Annual Day concluded with the National Anthem, marking a proud moment for the entire Navy Children School fraternity, as students, parents, and officers departed with renewed inspiration to uphold values of service, patriotism, and excellence.

नेवी चिल्ड्रेन स्कूल, दिल्ली ने धूमधाम से मनाया अपना हीरक जयंती वार्षिकोत्सव – 2025
नई दिल्ली, 30 अगस्त – भारतीय नौसेना के संरक्षण में पले-बढ़े देश के प्रतिष्ठित शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में से एक नेवी चिल्ड्रेन स्कूल, दिल्ली ने 29 अगस्त को हीरक जयंती वार्षिकोत्सव का आयोजन Talkatora Indoor Stadium में बड़ी धूमधाम और देशभक्ति के रंग में किया। इस वर्ष का थीम था “स्वदेश अनुराग – अपने देश से प्रेम”, जिसने पूरे कार्यक्रम को राष्ट्रगौरव और सांस्कृतिक धरोहर की भावनाओं से भर दिया।
इस अवसर पर एडमिरल दिनेश के त्रिपाठी, नौसेना प्रमुख तथा श्रीमती शशि त्रिपाठी, अध्यक्ष NWWA मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहे। समारोह में वरिष्ठ नौसेना अधिकारी, विशिष्ट अतिथि, अभिभावक और पूर्व छात्र भी शामिल हुए।
सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियों से सजा मंच
कार्यक्रम में विद्यार्थियों ने अपनी प्रतिभा का शानदार प्रदर्शन किया। एक ओर शास्त्रीय नृत्य ने भारत की सांस्कृतिक जड़ों को जीवंत किया, वहीं विशेष आवश्यकताओं वाले बच्चों का देशभक्ति परफॉर्मेंस दर्शकों को भावुक कर गया। कार्यक्रम की मुख्य आकर्षण रही संगीत, नाटक और नृत्य से सजी एक प्रभावशाली कोरियो-ड्रामा, जिसने भारत की प्रगति और सशस्त्र सेनाओं की अदम्य भावना को चित्रित किया।
कार्यक्रम का समापन राष्ट्र और रक्षाबलों को समर्पित भावनात्मक प्रस्तुति से हुआ, जिसने हर किसी को गर्व और देशभक्ति से भर दिया।
विशेष स्मरणीय पल
स्कूल की 60 साल की गौरवशाली यात्रा को चिह्नित करते हुए, ‘डायमंड जुबली सॉन्ग’ का विमोचन किया गया जिसे स्कूल के शिक्षकों ने रचा और NWWA के सहयोग से दृश्य रूप में प्रस्तुत किया।
इसके साथ ही दो महत्वपूर्ण प्रकाशनों का भी लोकार्पण हुआ –
- ‘एंकर’ का हीरक जयंती संस्करण, जिसमें विद्यार्थियों की उपलब्धियों और सृजनात्मकता को दर्शाया गया।
- ‘अ फ्लीट ऑफ टेल्स’, विद्यार्थियों द्वारा लिखी कहानियों का संग्रह।
नौसेना प्रमुख का प्रेरणादायी संदेश
नौसेना प्रमुख एडमिरल त्रिपाठी ने अपने संबोधन में स्कूल की उपलब्धियों की सराहना की और कहा कि शिक्षा, खेल और सह-पाठ्यक्रम गतिविधियों में इसकी उत्कृष्टता प्रशंसनीय है। उन्होंने स्कूल में शैक्षणिक सुविधाओं और अधोसंरचना उन्नयन के प्रयासों की भी तारीफ की।
अपने सैनिक स्कूल रीवा से शुरू हुई पांच दशक की वर्दीधारी यात्रा के अनुभव साझा करते हुए, नौसेना प्रमुख ने आत्मअनुशासन को “अदृश्य सुपरपावर” बताया और कहा कि यह व्यक्ति को मजबूत, बुद्धिमान और तीक्ष्ण बनाता है।
उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को पढ़ने की आदत, धैर्य, आत्मविश्वास के साथ विनम्रता विकसित करने और बड़े सपने देखने, कड़ी मेहनत करने तथा स्वाभिमान, आत्म-जागरूकता और निःस्वार्थता अपनाने की सीख दी। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों से समाज को वापस कुछ देने के महत्व पर जोर दिया और विश्वास जताया कि NCS के छात्र विकसित भारत@2047 के सपने को साकार करने में अहम योगदान देंगे।
सर्वश्रेष्ठ विद्यार्थियों का सम्मान
समारोह में अकादमिक वर्ष 2024-25 के सर्वश्रेष्ठ सर्वांगीण विद्यार्थियों मास्टर मनील कुमार और कु. खुशी जांगू को कैप्ट महेन्द्र नाथ मुल्ला स्मृति पुरस्कार प्रदान किया गया। यह पुरस्कार कैप्टन मुल्ला (MVC) के परिवारजनों ने उनके साहस और बलिदान की स्मृति में प्रदान किया।
राष्ट्रगान के साथ कार्यक्रम का समापन हुआ और विद्यालय परिवार गर्व, प्रेरणा और देशभक्ति से परिपूर्ण हो गया।
