प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के 75वें जन्मदिन के अवसर पर पूरे देशभर में “सेवा पखवाड़ा” का शुभारंभ किया गया। 17 सितम्बर से 2 अक्टूबर तक चलने वाले इस अभियान का बीकानेर में आगाज़ एक अनोखे अंदाज़ में हुआ, जब केंद्रीय कानून एवं न्याय मंत्री अर्जुनराम मेघवाल ने साइकिल चलाकर आमजन को सेवा और सादगी का संदेश दिया। यह पखवाड़ा सेवा गतिविधियों को समर्पित है, जिसका मुख्य फोकस स्वच्छ भारत मिशन को आगे बढ़ाना है।

जब मीडिया ने राहुल गांधी से जुड़े सवाल पूछे तो मेघवाल ने तीखी प्रतिक्रिया दी। उन्होंने कहा—”राहुल गांधी को उनका खुद का दल भी गंभीरता से नहीं लेता। ऐसे में उनसे जुड़े सवाल पूछने का कोई औचित्य नहीं है। हमें सेवा और विकास पर ध्यान केंद्रित करना चाहिए, न कि ऐसी बयानबाज़ी पर जिसका कोई महत्व ही नहीं।”
वक्फ बोर्ड कानून पर स्पष्टीकरण
केंद्रीय मंत्री ने इस मौके पर वक्फ बोर्ड अधिनियम को लेकर भी स्पष्टता दी। उन्होंने कहा कि यह कानून मुस्लिम महिलाओं और गरीब मुस्लिम समाज के हित में बनाया गया है। “इस कानून को सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चुनौती दी गई थी, लेकिन सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने साफ कर दिया कि कानून बनाने का अधिकार संसद को है। हालांकि कुछ प्रावधानों पर रोक लगी है, लेकिन कानून को समग्र रूप से मान्यता प्राप्त है,” मेघवाल ने कहा।
उन्होंने यह भी जोड़ा कि इस कानून को लेकर गलतफहमियां फैलाई गई हैं, जबकि वास्तविकता यह है कि यह मुस्लिम समाज के कमजोर तबकों की भलाई और न्याय सुनिश्चित करने के लिए लाया गया है।
सेवा पखवाड़ा: गांधी जयंती तक विशेष अभियान
