The Fertile Brains powered by YUVATI and TDW organized a poetry meet of international poets virtually on Zoom platform on Sunday, 29th May, 2022 at 6.00 PM in the evening.
Ms. Sunita Hussain, Ms. Shilpa, Ms. Jayashree T Rao, Ms. Maria Elvira, Ms. Gelda Castro, Ms Nirmala Mahesh, Dr. Satish C Srivastava, Ms. Divya Onkari, Ms Ekta Ahuja, Ms. Hari Prasad, Dr Roopali Sircar Gaur, Mr Arindom Roy
and P Koshy together organized it with Mr. Prasanna Kkumar.
The topic for the event was “A thing of beauty is a joy forever – John keats”.
At the onset, programme was hosted by Ms Shilpa who invited and introduced the honourable guest Ms. Kasturika Mishra. Ms Mishra recited her wonderful poetic pieces alluring the hearts of participant poets.
Ms Jayashree Trao hosted the first session and Ms Pankhuri Sinha, Dr Deena Padayachee, Mr Bob Whelen, Mr Pantas Pangihutan, Dr. Jantha Ramanathan and Mr Unmesh Mohitkar recited their poems.
Dr Poornima Kulkarni was the Guest of Honour. 2nd session was hosted by Ms Ekta Ahuja. Dr. Shalini Yadav, Mr. Laxman Rao, Mr Prasanna Bhatta, Mr Mohanlal Varma, Dr. T. Sreelatha, Dr. Perwaiz Shahriyar, Mr Soumen Roy and Ms Setaluri Padmavathi, Ms Sujata Paul read their poems.
Dr. Paramita Mukherjee Mullick was the chief Guest of Honour. 3rd session was hosted by Ms Gelda Castro. Mr Issac Cohen, Ms Manju Yadav, Ms Alexandra Psaropoulou, Dr. Sudipta Mishra, , Ms Nivedita Roy, Dr Kumar Malay, Ms Jayashri Ray, Ms Manju Viswabharathi and Dr. Laxmikanta Dash participated.
Fourth session was hosted by Ms Sunita Hussain, Mr Renukuntala Murali, Mr Dane Ince, Mr Don Krieger, Ms Tish Anne Ince, Dr. Roopali Sircar Gaur, Mr Tom Edward Philps, Mr Mohanlal Verma and recited their beautiful poems.
Dr Satish Srivastava hosted the fifth session. Mr Rakesh Chandra, Mr Kalipada Ghosh, Mr Hari Prasad S, Ms Jennifer Garnatz, Dr Molly Joseph, Ms Joan Santillan Amurao and Ms Anita Sharma, Ms Ganga Lakshmi read their poems and few others remained as audience
The poetic congregation became a gala event with memorable poetic recitations and was held on smoothly without any hassles as well as co-ordinated well by all the members equally.
Over all more than 50 participants participated and presented well and gave different dimensions to the theme. Organizing team members including guests with all participants made the event a grand success.
