पुणे, महाराष्ट्र: पुणे शहर में अवैध रूप से रह रहे विदेशी नागरिकों की पहचान और उनके खिलाफ कार्रवाई को लेकर सुरक्षा एवं खुफिया एजेंसियों ने बड़ी संयुक्त कार्रवाई की है। पुणे सिटी पुलिस की स्पेशल ब्रांच (SB) ने मिलिट्री इंटेलिजेंस (MI) के साथ समन्वय करते हुए तीन बांग्लादेशी नागरिकों को हिरासत में लिया है। पुलिस के अनुसार, ये तीनों कथित तौर पर बिना वैध दस्तावेजों के भारत में रह रहे थे।
पुणे पुलिस के मुताबिक, मिलिट्री इंटेलिजेंस की ओर से विकसित किए गए विशिष्ट खुफिया इनपुट के आधार पर संयुक्त टीम ने 27 अगस्त को दोपहर करीब 3 बजे कार्रवाई की। ऑपरेशन के दौरान तीन लोगों को हिरासत में लिया गया, जिनकी पहचान सोनिया अख्तर, मोतियार गाजी और सोनिया मोती पान के रूप में बताई गई है।
प्रारंभिक पूछताछ और दस्तावेजों के सत्यापन के दौरान अधिकारियों को कथित तौर पर पता चला कि तीनों के पास भारत में रहने के लिए आवश्यक वैध दस्तावेज मौजूद नहीं थे। इसके बाद संबंधित अधिकारियों ने उनके खिलाफ आगे की कानूनी प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है। पुलिस के अनुसार, तीनों के लिए डिटेंशन ऑर्डर जारी किए जा रहे हैं, जिसके बाद वे आगे की कानूनी कार्यवाही और निर्वासन से जुड़ी औपचारिकताएं पूरी होने तक हिरासत में रहेंगे।

Pune, Maharashtra: In a coordinated security operation, Pune City Police’s Special Branch (SB), in coordination with Military Intelligence (MI), detained three Bangladeshi nationals who were allegedly residing in Pune without valid documentation.
According to Pune Police, the operation was conducted at around 3 PM on August 27 following specific intelligence inputs developed by Military Intelligence. Acting on the information, a joint team carried out the operation and detained three individuals identified as Sonia Akther, Motiar Gaji, and Sonia Moti Pan.
During preliminary questioning and verification of their documents, authorities allegedly found that the three individuals were residing in India without the valid documents required for their stay. Following the verification, the authorities initiated further legal proceedings against them.
Pune Police stated that detention orders are being issued against the three individuals. They will remain in custody while the required legal procedures are completed, including formalities related to their possible deportation.
The operation is significant amid increased surveillance by intelligence and law-enforcement agencies in Pune aimed at identifying foreign nationals who may be residing in the city without valid documentation.
