जांच एजेंसियों को महिला के व्हाट्सएप और अन्य डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म की गतिविधियों में कई पाकिस्तानी और विदेशी नंबर मिले हैं। सूत्रों के अनुसार, महिला के मोबाइल में सेव कुछ नंबर ऐसे हैं, जिनके संबंध पाकिस्तान स्थित आतंकी नेटवर्क से होने की आशंका जताई जा रही है। इसके अलावा कई विदेशी संपर्कों के साथ नियमित बातचीत के संकेत भी मिले हैं। ATS अब इन नंबरों की कॉल डिटेल, चैट रिकॉर्ड, वॉयस मैसेज और अन्य डिजिटल डेटा की गहन जांच कर रही है। सुरक्षा एजेंसियों का मानना है कि हटाए गए डेटा को रिकवर करने के बाद और भी महत्वपूर्ण जानकारियां सामने आ सकती हैं। सूत्रों के अनुसार, महिला ने गिरफ्तारी से पहले काफी मात्रा में डिजिटल डेटा डिलीट कर दिया था, लेकिन साइबर फॉरेंसिक विशेषज्ञ अब उसे दोबारा प्राप्त करने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं। आशंका जताई जा रही है कि बातचीत के दौरान उसे कुछ विशेष कार्य सौंपे गए हो सकते हैं, जिनकी जांच की जा रही है।

राजस्थान ATS के पुलिस अधीक्षक मनीष त्रिपाठी ने मीडिया को जानकारी देते हुए कहा कि महिला को UAPA के तहत गिरफ्तार किया गया है और उसे सात दिन की रिमांड पर लिया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि राष्ट्र की संप्रभुता और सुरक्षा के लिए खतरा पैदा करने वाले प्रतिबंधित संगठनों के साथ संपर्क और राष्ट्रविरोधी गतिविधियों से जुड़े पहलुओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए यह कार्रवाई की गई है। उन्होंने बताया कि महिला ने अपने डिजिटल डेटा का काफी हिस्सा डिलीट कर दिया था, जिसे तकनीकी विशेषज्ञों की मदद से रिकवर किया जाएगा। उन्होंने यह भी पुष्टि की कि जांच के दौरान जैश-ए-मोहम्मद का नाम सामने आया है और पूरे मामले की गहराई से जांच की जा रही है। ATS अधिकारी ने स्पष्ट किया कि अभी कई पहलुओं की जांच बाकी है और आने वाले दिनों में और महत्वपूर्ण खुलासे सामने आ सकते हैं।

During interrogation, the accused allegedly disclosed that she had embraced Islam after being influenced by a Pakistan-based Mufti who conducted religious conversion procedures over the phone. Following the conversion, Babita adopted the name Khadija. According to sources, she had undergone online religious indoctrination and gradually came into contact with individuals associated with radical organisations.
Investigators suspect that her ideological transformation was part of a larger pattern of online radicalisation in which vulnerable individuals are targeted through social media and communication platforms. Sources suggest that after her conversion, she became increasingly active in Pakistan-linked groups and established regular communication with individuals promoting extremist ideology.
Security agencies are trying to determine whether her conversion was entirely voluntary or whether it formed part of a systematic radicalisation process intended to recruit sympathisers and sleeper cells inside India.
Pakistan Travel Plans Under Investigation
One of the most alarming aspects emerging from the investigation is the revelation that her handlers were allegedly planning to bring her to Pakistan. According to sources, Babita alias Khadija had expressed her desire to travel to Pakistan and was in touch with individuals who were facilitating such plans. Taking cognisance of the seriousness of the allegations, Rajasthan ATS arrested the accused under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), along with relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). According to ATS Superintendent of Police Manish Tripathi, the woman was found to be associated with banned organisations and involved in activities that posed a threat to the sovereignty and integrity of the nation.
Speaking on the development, SP Manish Tripathi stated that a considerable amount of digital data had been deleted by the accused, but forensic experts are working to retrieve the information. He confirmed that the name of Jaish-e-Mohammed had surfaced prominently during the investigation and that all aspects are being thoroughly examined.
The ATS officer emphasised that being in contact with banned organisations and engaging in activities detrimental to national security are serious offences under Indian law, and therefore the agency is pursuing every lead connected with the case.

Investigators suspect that the accused may have been functioning as a sleeper cell within Jaipur. Masood Azhar remains one of India’s most wanted terrorists and is responsible for numerous attacks against India. JeM, founded by Azhar, has been designated a terrorist organisation by several countries and international institutions.
