रामनगर बस हादसा: उधमपुर की खाई में गिरी बस, भारतीय सेना ने दिखाई अदम्य बहादुरी, दर्जनों जिंदगियां बचाईं

जम्मू-कश्मीर के उधमपुर जिले के रामनगर क्षेत्र में 20 अप्रैल 2026 की सुबह एक भयावह हादसे ने पूरे इलाके को झकझोर कर रख दिया। लगभग सुबह 9:40 बजे रामनगर से उधमपुर जा रही एक निजी बस गांव काघोटे के पास अचानक अनियंत्रित होकर सड़क से नीचे लगभग 70 फीट गहरी खाई में जा गिरी। पहाड़ी क्षेत्र की संकरी और घुमावदार सड़कों पर यह हादसा किसी भयावह सपने से कम नहीं था। बस के गिरते ही जोरदार धमाका हुआ और वाहन पूरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया, जिसमें सवार कई यात्री अंदर ही फंस गए। इस दुर्घटना ने एक बार फिर यह सवाल खड़ा कर दिया कि आखिर पहाड़ी इलाकों में सुरक्षित परिवहन व्यवस्था को लेकर अब तक ठोस कदम क्यों नहीं उठाए जा सके हैं। घटनास्थल पर चीख-पुकार, घायल यात्रियों की कराह और चारों ओर फैला मलबा इस त्रासदी की गंभीरता को बयां कर रहा था।
गोरखा राइफल्स के जवान बने पहले रक्षक, दिखाया असाधारण साहस
इस भयावह हादसे के बीच भारतीय सेना के गोरखा राइफल्स के जवान किसी फरिश्ते की तरह मौके पर पहुंचे। संयोगवश यह टुकड़ी समनाबंज में ट्रेनिंग के लिए जा रही थी, तभी उनकी नजर इस दुर्घटना पर पड़ी। बिना एक पल गंवाए जवान तुरंत बचाव कार्य में जुट गए। दुर्गम पहाड़ी इलाके, ढलान और टूटे-फूटे मलबे के बीच जवानों ने अपनी जान की परवाह किए बिना नीचे खाई में उतरकर घायलों को बाहर निकालना शुरू किया। कई यात्री बस के भीतर बुरी तरह फंसे हुए थे, जिन्हें निकालना बेहद जोखिम भरा था। लेकिन गोरखा राइफल्स के जवानों ने अद्भुत साहस, धैर्य और सूझबूझ का परिचय देते हुए एक-एक कर लोगों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाला। उनका यह त्वरित एक्शन कई जिंदगियों के लिए जीवनदान साबित हुआ।
डोगरा रेजिमेंट ने संभाली कमान, बनाया गया इमरजेंसी कंट्रोल सेंटर
जैसे-जैसे हादसे की गंभीरता सामने आई, भारतीय सेना ने अपने ऑपरेशन को और व्यापक रूप दिया। डोगरा रेजिमेंट की एक बटालियन के कमांडिंग ऑफिसर के नेतृत्व में घटनास्थल पर एक एड-हॉक इंसिडेंट कंट्रोल सेंटर स्थापित किया गया। इस कंट्रोल सेंटर ने पूरे बचाव अभियान को संगठित और व्यवस्थित तरीके से संचालित करने में अहम भूमिका निभाई। कुल 10 विशेष टीमों का गठन किया गया, जिनमें डोगरा रेजिमेंट और गोरखा राइफल्स के जवान शामिल थे। हर टीम को अलग-अलग जिम्मेदारियां दी गईं—कहीं घायलों को निकालने का काम, तो कहीं प्राथमिक उपचार और समन्वय का कार्य। इस रणनीतिक व्यवस्था ने बचाव अभियान को तेज और प्रभावी बनाया, जिससे समय पर अधिक से अधिक लोगों को बचाया जा सका।
समय के खिलाफ जंग: कठिन परिस्थितियों में चला रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन
यह पूरा बचाव अभियान समय के खिलाफ एक जंग जैसा था। खाई की गहराई, फिसलन भरी जमीन और चारों ओर बिखरे मलबे ने राहत कार्य को बेहद चुनौतीपूर्ण बना दिया था। इसके बावजूद भारतीय सेना के जवान लगातार बिना रुके काम करते रहे। रस्सियों, अस्थायी स्ट्रेचर और अपने शारीरिक बल का इस्तेमाल करते हुए जवानों ने घायलों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाला। कई लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल थे, जिन्हें तुरंत इलाज की जरूरत थी, वहीं कुछ लोग सदमे में थे। जवानों ने अपनी ट्रेनिंग और अनुभव का पूरा इस्तेमाल करते हुए हर स्थिति का सामना किया और यह सुनिश्चित किया कि ‘गोल्डन ऑवर’ के भीतर ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोगों को मदद मिल सके।

घटना के तुरंत बाद सेना के जवानों ने घायलों को प्राथमिक उपचार देना शुरू कर दिया। युद्ध स्तर की चिकित्सा ट्रेनिंग प्राप्त जवानों ने मौके पर ही घायलों की स्थिति को स्थिर किया, खून बहना रोका और उन्हें सुरक्षित स्थान पर पहुंचाने की तैयारी की। इसके साथ ही भारतीय वायुसेना से भी संपर्क स्थापित किया गया, ताकि गंभीर रूप से घायल यात्रियों को एयरलिफ्ट किया जा सके। वायुसेना के संसाधनों को स्टैंडबाय पर रखा गया, जिससे जरूरत पड़ने पर तत्काल कार्रवाई की जा सके। इस संयुक्त प्रयास ने यह दिखाया कि भारतीय सशस्त्र बल किस तरह हर परिस्थिति में एकजुट होकर काम करते हैं और जीवन बचाने को सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता देते हैं।
