Rotary Club Installs Fogging Machine to Improve Cow Welfare at Jodhpur Gaushala
Jodhpur, May 29, 2024 — The Rotary Club of Jodhpur Padmini’s Rural Community Corps (RCC) teams have installed a fogging machine at the Jan Jeevan Kalyan Gaushala, aiming to improve the welfare of cows.
This initiative is designed to provide a cooling effect, mitigating heat stress in cows, particularly in the region’s hot and humid climate. The fogging machine also helps eliminate mosquitoes, flies, and other insects that transmit diseases such as malaria, dengue, and Zika.
By using these fogging machines, farmers and dairy owners can foster a healthier and more comfortable environment for their cows. This advancement is expected to lead to improved productivity, reduced mortality, and enhanced overall animal welfare.
The Rotary Club expressed gratitude to RCC Presidents Raju Ram Kukana and Ashok Thory for spearheading this initiative, along with the support of other RCC members.
