Rotary Uprise Launches Dog Ambulance Project in Bikaner to Provide Emergency Support to Stray and Needy Animals
BIKANER: In a significant initiative aimed at promoting animal welfare and providing timely assistance to injured and needy animals, Rotary Uprise has launched a dedicated Dog Ambulance Project in Bikaner. The project was formally inaugurated by District Governor Brij Mohan Agrawal, marking the beginning of an initiative focused on providing emergency transportation and support to dogs and other animals requiring immediate medical attention.
The Dog Ambulance Project has been launched with the objective of strengthening emergency assistance for animals, particularly stray and injured dogs that often face difficulties in receiving timely medical care. In cases of road accidents, serious illness or other emergencies, transporting an injured animal to a veterinary facility can be challenging due to the lack of suitable transportation. The new initiative is expected to help bridge this gap and provide a more organised means of reaching animals in need.
Speaking at the inauguration, District Governor Brij Mohan Agrawal appreciated Rotary Uprise for taking up the initiative and described it as an important step towards animal welfare. He said that initiatives aimed at providing emergency assistance and treatment facilities to voiceless animals help promote compassion and social responsibility within the community.
The project is intended to support efforts to provide timely assistance to animals facing emergencies. Such a dedicated ambulance service can play an important role in transporting injured animals from accident sites to appropriate treatment facilities and in supporting animal welfare workers and members of the public who come across animals requiring urgent help.
Rotary Uprise President Ruchi Daftari, along with Parul Agrawal, Neha Ojha, Riya Agrawal, Rashmi Kalla, Priyanka Shringari, Neelam Singhi, Avni Agrawal, Anjali Gupta and other members of the organisation, were present during the inauguration ceremony. Members expressed their commitment to continuing efforts aimed at improving services and assistance available to animals in distress.
Members of Rotary Aadhya and Rotary Royals also attended the programme and extended their support to the Dog Ambulance Project. Their participation highlighted the importance of collective community efforts in addressing animal welfare concerns and creating stronger support systems for injured and abandoned animals.
The Rotary Uprise team expressed its gratitude to District Governor Brij Mohan Agrawal for formally inaugurating the project. The team said it would continue working towards improving services for voiceless animals and ensuring that collective efforts are translated into practical assistance on the ground.
The initiative comes at a time when animal welfare organisations and volunteers frequently face challenges in responding to cases involving injured or sick stray animals. A dedicated ambulance can provide an important logistical link between the location where an animal is found and the veterinary or treatment facility where it can receive care.

रोटरी अपराइस ने बेजुबान पशुओं की मदद के लिए शुरू की डॉग एंबुलेंस सेवा, बीकानेर में परियोजना का विधिवत शुभारंभ
बीकानेर: बेजुबान पशुओं के कल्याण और उन्हें जरूरत के समय त्वरित चिकित्सा सहायता उपलब्ध कराने की दिशा में रोटरी अपराइस की ओर से एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल की गई है। संस्था ने डॉग एंबुलेंस परियोजना की शुरुआत की है, जिसका विधिवत शुभारंभ डिस्ट्रिक्ट गवर्नर ब्रिज मोहन अग्रवाल ने किया। इस पहल का उद्देश्य घायल, बीमार और आपात स्थिति में फंसे आवारा एवं जरूरतमंद कुत्तों सहित अन्य बेजुबान पशुओं को समय पर सहायता और उपचार उपलब्ध कराने में मदद करना है।
डॉग एंबुलेंस परियोजना के शुभारंभ के अवसर पर रोटरी पदाधिकारियों और सदस्यों ने इसे पशु कल्याण की दिशा में एक संवेदनशील और उपयोगी कदम बताया। परियोजना के माध्यम से ऐसे पशुओं तक सहायता पहुंचाने का प्रयास किया जाएगा, जिन्हें दुर्घटना, बीमारी या अन्य आपात परिस्थितियों के दौरान तत्काल चिकित्सा सहायता की आवश्यकता होती है। कई बार सड़क दुर्घटनाओं या गंभीर बीमारी की स्थिति में घायल पशुओं को अस्पताल या उपचार केंद्र तक पहुंचाने के लिए उचित परिवहन की सुविधा उपलब्ध नहीं होती। ऐसे में डॉग एंबुलेंस जैसी सेवा पशु कल्याण से जुड़े कार्यकर्ताओं और आम लोगों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण सहायता का माध्यम बन सकती है।
परियोजना का उद्घाटन करते हुए डिस्ट्रिक्ट गवर्नर ब्रिज मोहन अग्रवाल ने रोटरी अपराइस की पहल की सराहना की। उन्होंने कहा कि बेजुबान पशुओं के लिए आपातकालीन सहायता और उपचार की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराने वाली ऐसी परियोजनाएं समाज में संवेदनशीलता और जिम्मेदारी की भावना को मजबूत करती हैं। उन्होंने इस पहल को पशु कल्याण के क्षेत्र में एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रयास बताते हुए उम्मीद जताई कि सामूहिक सहयोग से इस सेवा को और प्रभावी बनाया जा सकेगा।
कार्यक्रम में रोटरी अपराइस की अध्यक्ष रुचि दफ्तरी के साथ पारुल अग्रवाल, नेहा ओझा, रिया अग्रवाल, रश्मि कल्ला, प्रियंका शृंगारी, नीलम सिंघी, अवनी अग्रवाल, अंजलि गुप्ता सहित रोटरी अपराइस के अन्य सदस्य उपस्थित रहे। सभी सदस्यों ने परियोजना के उद्देश्य और भविष्य की कार्ययोजना को लेकर अपनी प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त की।
इस अवसर पर रोटरी आध्या और रोटरी रॉयल्स के सदस्यों ने भी कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया और डॉग एंबुलेंस परियोजना के प्रति अपना समर्थन व्यक्त किया। विभिन्न रोटरी समूहों के सदस्यों की मौजूदगी ने यह संदेश दिया कि पशु कल्याण जैसे सामाजिक सरोकारों के लिए सामूहिक प्रयासों की आवश्यकता है।
रोटरी अपराइस की टीम ने परियोजना के शुभारंभ के लिए डिस्ट्रिक्ट गवर्नर ब्रिज मोहन अग्रवाल का आभार व्यक्त किया। टीम ने कहा कि संस्था बेजुबान पशुओं के लिए बेहतर सेवाएं उपलब्ध कराने और जरूरतमंद पशुओं तक समय पर सहायता पहुंचाने की दिशा में लगातार प्रयास करती रहेगी। टीम का कहना है कि डॉग एंबुलेंस परियोजना के जरिए पशु प्रेमियों, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं और आम नागरिकों को भी जरूरत के समय एक उपयोगी सहायता व्यवस्था उपलब्ध कराने का प्रयास किया जाएगा।
बीकानेर जैसे शहर में आवारा और जरूरतमंद पशुओं के लिए चिकित्सा एवं आपातकालीन सहायता की व्यवस्था को मजबूत करना पशु कल्याण के लिहाज से महत्वपूर्ण माना जा सकता है। सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में घायल पशुओं को समय पर उपचार केंद्र तक पहुंचाना, बीमार पशुओं को आवश्यक चिकित्सा सहायता दिलाना और आपात परिस्थितियों में उनके लिए परिवहन उपलब्ध कराना इस तरह की सेवा के प्रमुख उपयोगों में शामिल हो सकते हैं।
डॉग एंबुलेंस परियोजना का शुभारंभ केवल एक सेवा की शुरुआत नहीं, बल्कि समाज में बेजुबान जीवों के प्रति संवेदनशीलता और मानवीय जिम्मेदारी को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में एक प्रयास के रूप में देखा जा रहा है। रोटरी अपराइस की टीम ने सामूहिक भागीदारी के माध्यम से इस पहल को आगे बढ़ाने और अधिक से अधिक जरूरतमंद पशुओं तक सहायता पहुंचाने का संकल्प व्यक्त किया।
