Sapta Shakti Command Sets Stage for Landmark Defence Tech Conclave in Jaipur: ‘Next Generation Combat’ Seminar to Shape India’s Future Military Power

As the nation accelerates towards the grand vision of Viksit Bharat, the Indian Army’s Sapta Shakti Command has taken a decisive step in driving military-civil synergy through a high-level seminar that will shape the contours of next-generation combat capabilities.
In a powerful assertion of India’s resolve to achieve technological sovereignty and operational superiority, a two-day landmark technical seminar and exhibition titled ‘Next Generation Combat: Shaping Tomorrow’s Military Today’ is set to take place on 16 and 17 July 2025 at the Jaipur Military Station, under the aegis of Sapta Shakti Command in collaboration with Centre for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS) and Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM).
This pivotal event is aimed at fostering military-industry-academia collaboration, showcasing indigenous innovation, and facilitating strategic policy discussions around future combat readiness. Over 500 senior military officers, strategic thinkers, defence experts, veterans, industry leaders, and civil dignitaries are expected to gather for this intellectual and technological milestone.

The inspiration behind the seminar stems from the success of Operation Sindoor, where India executed technology-enabled, proportionate, and precise military operations relying heavily on indigenous platforms and emerging technologies. This set a new benchmark for operational conduct in real-time conflict scenarios, reinforcing India’s growing ability to act autonomously and decisively.

The seminar is structured around five high-impact panel discussions, each addressing a critical dimension of modern military transformation:
- Defence Innovation Ecosystem: Pathways to boost Atmanirbhar Bharat in defence production.
- AI-Based Solutions: From predictive logistics to autonomous surveillance and decision-making support.
- Autonomous Technologies: Leveraging unmanned systems, loitering munitions, robotic warfare.

Each panel will explore real-time case studies, battlefield applications, and lessons from recent global conflicts including the Russia-Ukraine war, Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, and Indo-China skirmishes — all with a focus on India’s operational relevance.

भारत आज रक्षा क्षेत्र में आत्मनिर्भरता और प्रौद्योगिकीय प्रभुत्व की दिशा में एक निर्णायक मोड़ पर खड़ा है। विकसित भारत के संकल्प के तहत, भारतीय सेना की सप्त शक्ति कमान जयपुर में ‘नेक्स्ट जनरेशन कॉम्बैट: शेपिंग टुमारोज़ मिलिटरी टुडे’ नामक दो दिवसीय सेमिनार और प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन कर रही है, जो भारत के रक्षा भविष्य की रूपरेखा तय करेगा।
यह कार्यक्रम 16 और 17 जुलाई 2025 को जयपुर मिलिट्री स्टेशन पर आयोजित होगा, जिसमें CLAWS (सेंटर फॉर लैंड वारफेयर स्टडीज) और SIDM (सोसाइटी ऑफ इंडियन डिफेंस मैन्युफैक्चरर्स) का सहयोग प्राप्त है।
