Government Service Began on 16 September 1985 at 506 Army Base Workshop, Jabalpur
Shri Narinder Dhull began his government service on 16 September 1985, when he joined the 506 Army Base Workshop, Jabalpur, as a Laboratory Technician. This marked the beginning of a career that would eventually span almost four decades and take him through a wide range of responsibilities and professional assignments.
His initial appointment at an Army Base Workshop provided him with an opportunity to work within an important technical and administrative environment. Over the subsequent years, he expanded his professional responsibilities and served in different capacities, demonstrating his ability to adapt to changing assignments and organisational requirements.
From his initial role as a Laboratory Technician, Shri Dhull went on to serve as a Motor Mechanic, Lower Division Clerk, Upper Division Clerk and Junior Accountant, among other responsibilities. A particularly significant phase of Shri Narinder Dhull’s career began on 1 February 2010, when he joined the NCC Directorate, Chandigarh. He continued serving at the Directorate until his retirement on 31 August 2026, completing more than 16 years of service at the organisation.
During this long association with the NCC Directorate, Shri Dhull performed various administrative responsibilities and became an experienced member of the Directorate’s workforce. UDC Post Redesigned as Senior Secretariat Assistant in 2022
Another important milestone in Shri Dhull’s career came with the redesignation of the post of Upper Division Clerk (UDC) as Senior Secretariat Assistant (SSA) with effect from 30 June 2022. Following the change in designation, Shri Dhull continued to discharge his responsibilities as a Senior Secretariat Assistant at the NCC Directorate, Chandigarh.
He remained associated with the Directorate in this capacity until his retirement on 31 August 2026. The final phase of his career therefore saw him serve as a Senior Secretariat Assistant, bringing to an end a professional journey that had begun with a technical appointment at an Army Base Workshop in Jabalpur in 1985.
Multiple Awards and Commendations Recognised His Devotion to Duty
Over the course of his long government service, Shri Narinder Dhull received several awards and commendations recognising his dedication, professional excellence and commitment to duty. These recognitions came from different organisations and senior authorities over several stages of his career.
On 15 June 1994, he received a Cash Award Certificate from the Commandant, 506 Army Base Workshop, Jabalpur, in recognition of his devotion to duty. The award represented an early recognition of his commitment and performance during his service at the Army Base Workshop.
Later, on 15 October 2007, Shri Dhull was awarded a Commendation Card by the DG EME, Headquarters Technical Group EME, Delhi Cantt, again recognising his devotion to duty. This commendation reflected his continued professional contribution after more than two decades of government service.

चंडीगढ़, 31 अगस्त 2026: लगभग 41 वर्षों की दीर्घ, गौरवपूर्ण और समर्पित सरकारी सेवा पूरी करने के बाद वरिष्ठ सचिवालय सहायक श्री नरिंदर ढुल 31 अगस्त 2026 को सेवानिवृत्त हो गए। श्री ढुल NCC निदेशालय, चंडीगढ़ में वरिष्ठ सचिवालय सहायक के पद पर कार्यरत थे और उन्होंने अपने लंबे सेवाकाल के दौरान विभिन्न तकनीकी, प्रशासनिक और लेखा संबंधी जिम्मेदारियों का कुशलतापूर्वक निर्वहन किया। उनकी सेवानिवृत्ति के अवसर पर NCC निदेशालय चंडीगढ़ के अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों ने उन्हें भावभीनी विदाई दी तथा उनके समर्पित सेवाकाल, कर्तव्यनिष्ठा, ईमानदारी, अनुशासन और व्यवहार-कुशलता को याद किया।

16 सितंबर 1985 को 506 आर्मी बेस वर्कशॉप जबलपुर से शुरू हुआ सेवाकाल
श्री नरिंदर ढुल ने अपने सरकारी सेवाकाल की शुरुआत 16 सितंबर 1985 को 506 आर्मी बेस वर्कशॉप, जबलपुर में लैब टेक्नीशियन के रूप में की थी। यही नियुक्ति उनके लगभग 41 वर्षों लंबे सरकारी सेवाकाल की शुरुआत बनी।
एक तकनीकी पद से शुरू हुई उनकी पेशेवर यात्रा आगे चलकर विभिन्न प्रशासनिक और लेखा संबंधी जिम्मेदारियों तक पहुंची। समय के साथ उन्होंने अलग-अलग पदों पर कार्य करते हुए अपनी कार्यक्षमता, अनुशासन और कर्तव्यनिष्ठा का परिचय दिया।
एक ही प्रकार की जिम्मेदारी तक सीमित रहने के बजाय उन्होंने सरकारी सेवा के दौरान अलग-अलग क्षेत्रों में कार्य किया और बदलती आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप स्वयं को ढाला। यही विविध अनुभव उनके लंबे सेवाकाल की एक महत्वपूर्ण विशेषता बना।
लैब टेक्नीशियन से लेकर एलडीसी, यूडीसी और जूनियर अकाउंटेंट तक निभाई जिम्मेदारियां
श्री नरिंदर ढुल के करियर की विशेषता यह रही कि उन्होंने अपने सेवाकाल में कई अलग-अलग महत्वपूर्ण पदों पर काम किया। लैब टेक्नीशियन के रूप में शुरुआत करने के बाद उन्होंने मोटर मैकेनिक, लोअर डिवीजन क्लर्क (LDC), अपर डिवीजन क्लर्क (UDC) और जूनियर अकाउंटेंट सहित विभिन्न जिम्मेदारियां संभालीं।

1 फरवरी 2010 से NCC निदेशालय चंडीगढ़ से जुड़ा महत्वपूर्ण अध्याय
श्री नरिंदर ढुल के सरकारी सेवाकाल का एक महत्वपूर्ण चरण 1 फरवरी 2010 से शुरू हुआ, जब उन्होंने NCC निदेशालय, चंडीगढ़ में सेवाएं देना शुरू किया। इसके बाद उन्होंने लगातार 31 अगस्त 2026 तक NCC निदेशालय में अपनी सेवाएं दीं।
इस प्रकार NCC निदेशालय चंडीगढ़ में उनका कार्यकाल 16 वर्षों से अधिक का रहा। इतने लंबे समय तक एक ही संस्थान से जुड़े रहने के कारण वे निदेशालय के कामकाज और प्रशासनिक व्यवस्था के अनुभवी सदस्य बन गए थे।
इस दौरान उन्होंने विभिन्न प्रशासनिक जिम्मेदारियों का निर्वहन किया और अपने सहयोगियों के बीच एक जिम्मेदार, अनुशासित और सहयोगी कर्मचारी के रूप में पहचान बनाई।
2022 में UDC से Senior Secretariat Assistant बना पद
श्री नरिंदर ढुल के करियर में एक और महत्वपूर्ण पड़ाव 30 जून 2022 को आया, जब Upper Division Clerk यानी UDC के पद का नाम बदलकर Senior Secretariat Assistant (SSA) किया गया।
पद के पुनर्नामकरण के बाद श्री ढुल ने Senior Secretariat Assistant के रूप में अपनी जिम्मेदारियां निभाना जारी रखा और इसी पद से 31 अगस्त 2026 को सेवानिवृत्त हुए।
इस प्रकार उनके सेवाकाल का अंतिम चरण NCC निदेशालय चंडीगढ़ में Senior Secretariat Assistant के रूप में पूरा हुआ और लगभग चार दशक से अधिक लंबी सरकारी सेवा का यह सफर सेवानिवृत्ति के साथ समाप्त हुआ।
कर्तव्यनिष्ठा और समर्पण के लिए कई पुरस्कार एवं सम्मान
श्री नरिंदर ढुल का सेवाकाल कई महत्वपूर्ण पुरस्कारों और प्रशस्तियों से भी गौरवान्वित रहा। उनके लंबे सेवाकाल के दौरान विभिन्न वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों और संस्थानों ने उनके कार्य के प्रति समर्पण और पेशेवर उत्कृष्टता को मान्यता दी।
15 जून 1994 को उन्हें 506 Army Base Workshop, Jabalpur के Commandant द्वारा Devotion to Duty के लिए Cash Award Certificate प्रदान किया गया। यह उनके सेवाकाल के शुरुआती वर्षों में उनके समर्पण और कार्यकुशलता की महत्वपूर्ण पहचान थी।

15 अक्टूबर 2009 को श्री नरिंदर ढुल को Major General, Commander, Technical Group EME, Delhi Cantt द्वारा Professional Excellence Award से सम्मानित किया गया।
यह सम्मान उनके सरकारी सेवाकाल के एक महत्वपूर्ण पड़ाव पर मिला। उस समय तक वे लगभग 24 वर्षों की सरकारी सेवा पूरी कर चुके थे और विभिन्न तकनीकी एवं प्रशासनिक जिम्मेदारियों का अनुभव प्राप्त कर चुके थे।

28 मार्च 2013 को श्री नरिंदर ढुल को Ministry of Telecommunications द्वारा Appreciation Certificate प्रदान किया गया। यह सम्मान उनके सेवाकाल में एक और महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि के रूप में दर्ज हुआ।

वर्ष 2018-19 में श्री नरिंदर ढुल को Director General NCC द्वारा DG NCC Commendation Card एवं Cash Award से सम्मानित किया गया।

श्री नरिंदर ढुल के सेवाकाल की एक विशेष उपलब्धि RDC-2020, दिल्ली से भी जुड़ी रही। वहां उन्होंने Accounts Clerk के रूप में कार्य करते हुए Champion Contingent का हिस्सा बनने का गौरव हासिल किया।
NCC से जुड़े आयोजनों में अनुशासन, समन्वय और सटीक प्रशासनिक कार्यों की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका होती है। Champion Contingent का हिस्सा बनना उनके सेवाकाल की उल्लेखनीय उपलब्धियों में शामिल रहा।

उनके करियर की शुरुआत जबलपुर से हुई, जबकि बाद के वर्षों में दिल्ली सहित अन्य स्थानों पर विभिन्न जिम्मेदारियां निभाईं। इसके बाद NCC निदेशालय चंडीगढ़ उनके सेवाकाल का सबसे लंबा और महत्वपूर्ण पड़ाव बना।

लगभग 41 वर्षों के इस लंबे सफर में उन्होंने तकनीकी कर्मचारी से लेकर प्रशासनिक एवं लेखा संबंधी विभिन्न जिम्मेदारियों तक कार्य किया। इस दौरान उन्हें Army establishment, EME authorities, Ministry of Telecommunications और NCC leadership की ओर से विभिन्न पुरस्कार एवं प्रशस्तियां प्राप्त हुईं।
उनका सेवाकाल केवल वर्षों की संख्या नहीं बल्कि कर्तव्यनिष्ठा, अनुशासन, ईमानदारी, पेशेवर उत्कृष्टता और निरंतर समर्पण की लंबी यात्रा रहा। NCC निदेशालय चंडीगढ़ ने उनकी सेवाओं के लिए आभार व्यक्त करते हुए उनके स्वस्थ, शांतिपूर्ण और खुशहाल सेवानिवृत्त जीवन की कामना की है।
लगभग 41 वर्षों की सरकारी सेवा के बाद श्री नरिंदर ढुल अब अपने जीवन के एक नए अध्याय में प्रवेश कर रहे हैं, लेकिन उनके लंबे सेवाकाल की उपलब्धियां और सहकर्मियों के बीच उनकी सौम्य एवं सहयोगी छवि लंबे समय तक स्मरणीय रहेगी।
