Lieutenant General Pushpendra Singh, Vice Chief of the Army Staff (VCOAS), undertook a significant visit to Pune, one of India’s most critical defence manufacturing hubs, where he reviewed advanced defence production facilities of Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) and Bharat Forge Ltd. दौरे के दौरान वीसीओएएस को रोबोटिक्स, मानव रहित हवाई प्रणालियों (UAVs) और आधुनिक तोपखाना प्रणालियों से जुड़े चल रहे प्रोजेक्ट्स की जानकारी दी गई। इन प्रणालियों को भविष्य के युद्धक्षेत्र की आवश्यकताओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए विकसित किया जा रहा है। उद्योग प्रतिनिधियों ने बताया कि किस प्रकार निजी क्षेत्र भारतीय सेना की परिचालन जरूरतों के अनुरूप विश्वस्तरीय स्वदेशी समाधान विकसित कर रहा है।
रोबोटिक्स और मानव रहित युद्ध प्रणालियों पर विशेष जोर

रक्षा उद्योग के प्रयासों की सराहना
वीसीओएएस ने एलएंडटी और भारत फोर्ज के प्रयासों की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि भारतीय निजी रक्षा उद्योग अब परिपक्वता की ओर बढ़ चुका है। उन्होंने कहा कि स्वदेशी रक्षा उत्पादन न केवल आयात पर निर्भरता कम करता है, बल्कि समय पर और भरोसेमंद समाधान भी सुनिश्चित करता है। यह साझेदारी भारतीय सेना की ताकत का एक अहम स्तंभ बन रही है।
