कोलंबो बंदरगाह दौरे के बाद 27 जनवरी 2026 को भारतीय तटरक्षक जहाज़ श्रीलंका तटरक्षक बल के साथ समुद्र में अभ्यास SAGAREX में भाग लेंगे। इस अभ्यास का मुख्य उद्देश्य समुद्री प्रदूषण की घटनाओं से निपटने के लिए समन्वित प्रतिक्रिया तंत्र को मजबूत करना है। हिंद महासागर क्षेत्र में बढ़ते समुद्री यातायात को देखते हुए यह अभ्यास पर्यावरणीय आपात स्थितियों से निपटने की संयुक्त क्षमता को और प्रभावी बनाएगा।
