In a landmark initiative under the Government of India’s ten-day awareness campaign led by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, the Department of Women Empowerment, under the guidance of Dr. Anuradha Saxena, organized a special workshop in Bikaner focused on higher education, vocational training, and skill development for women.

The workshop emphasized the critical role of higher education and skill enhancement in empowering women to become self-reliant, career-oriented, and socially impactful leaders. According to officials, higher education not only equips women with knowledge and confidence but also provides them with career opportunities and tools for personal growth.

• The event recognized leading women achievers in education and professional training, celebrating their contributions toward uplifting society.
• A unique photo booth was set up as part of the initiative, allowing women to capture memorable moments and symbolize their commitment to education and empowerment.
• Women participants also took a pledge to work towards spreading opportunities for higher education, vocational training, and skill development among other women, ensuring a ripple effect in society.

Joint Efforts for Change

The program was jointly conducted under Mission Shakti Sanrakshan Awareness Campaign and the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, reflecting the government’s emphasis on combining policy support with grassroots participation.

Speaking at the event, coordinators stressed that skill development is the backbone of Atmanirbhar Bharat, and when women are empowered with knowledge and training, they not only uplift themselves but also contribute to the economic and social transformation of the nation.

The program saw enthusiastic participation from women leaders and activists including Madhu Khatri, Soni Sharma, Varsha, Ganga Bhatia, Vijay Laxmi, Shikha Vijayvargiya, DHEW Gender Specialist Pawan Kumar, and representatives from PSSK like Kavita Hurkat, Manisha Sharma, and Bhagyashree Jha.

The gathering became a symbol of collective resolve, as women participants pledged to promote higher education, expand skill development opportunities, and ensure empowerment reaches every corner of society.

This initiative marked a significant step in Bikaner’s journey towards women’s empowerment, combining awareness, recognition, and practical tools to strengthen the role of women in education and workforce participation.

महिला एवं बाल विकास मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के दस दिवसीय जागरूकता अभियान के तहत बीकानेर में महिला अधिकारिता विभाग ने डॉ. अनुराधा सक्सेना के निर्देशन में उच्च शिक्षा, व्यवसायिक प्रशिक्षण और कौशल विकास पर विशेष कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया।

कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य महिलाओं को यह समझाना था कि उच्च शिक्षा और कौशल विकास उनके आत्मनिर्भर बनने और समाज में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाने की कुंजी है। उच्च शिक्षा न केवल महिलाओं को आत्मविश्वास और ज्ञान देती है, बल्कि उनके करियर में आगे बढ़ने और सामाजिक बदलाव का वाहक बनने का अवसर भी प्रदान करती है।

कार्यशाला की मुख्य बातें:

• कार्यशाला में उच्च शिक्षा और व्यावसायिक प्रशिक्षण में अग्रणी महिलाओं का सम्मान किया गया।
• कार्यक्रम के दौरान एक विशेष फोटो बूथ लगाया गया ताकि महिलाएँ अपनी एक यादगार तस्वीर लेकर इस क्षण को सहेज सकें।
• उपस्थित महिलाओं ने संकल्प लिया कि वे उच्च शिक्षा, व्यवसायिक प्रशिक्षण और कौशल विकास को बढ़ावा देंगी और अधिक से अधिक महिलाओं तक यह अवसर पहुँचाने में मदद करेंगी।

संयुक्त पहल और महिला शक्ति का संकल्प

यह कार्यक्रम मिशन शक्ति संकल्प जागरूकता अभियान और प्रधानमंत्री कौशल विकास योजना के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में आयोजित किया गया। आयोजकों ने कहा कि कौशल विकास आत्मनिर्भर भारत की रीढ़ है और जब महिलाएँ शिक्षा और प्रशिक्षण से सशक्त होती हैं, तो वे न केवल खुद को बल्कि पूरे समाज और राष्ट्र की उन्नति में योगदान देती हैं।

कार्यक्रम में मधु खत्री, सोनी शर्मा, वर्षा, गंगा भाटिया, विजय लक्ष्मी, शिखा विजयवर्गीय, DHEW जेंडर स्पेशलिस्ट पवन कुमार, तथा PSSK से कविता हुरकट, मनीषा शर्मा और भाग्यश्री झा ने सक्रिय रूप से भाग लिया।

यह आयोजन बीकानेर में महिला सशक्तिकरण की दिशा में एक मजबूत कदम साबित हुआ, जिसमें जागरूकता, सम्मान और व्यावहारिक उपायों को जोड़कर महिलाओं के लिए एक नई दिशा तय की गई।
