𝗧𝗮𝗷𝗶𝗸 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻

Mir Afaq, a resident of #Panjshir, who was previously arrested by the #Taliban, has tragically succumbed to torture in the Taliban’s intelligence GDI prison. Afaq, suspected of affiliation with the National Resistance Front, was detained by Taliban forces.

His death underscores growing concerns about human rights abuses in the country, especially in the northern areas. The circumstances surrounding Afaq’s detention & subsequent demise remain unclear, raising further questions about the treatment of prisoners in Taliban custody.

This incident adds to the ongoing turmoil and instability in the region following the fall of the previous #Afghan govt.
