बीकानेर। बीकानेर रेंज में चल रहे ‘फ्लश आउट अभियान’ के तहत अपराधियों पर शिकंजा कसने की कार्रवाई तेज हो गई है। इसी कड़ी में छतरगढ़ थाना पुलिस ने सोमवार दोपहर को दो संदिग्धों को गिरफ्तार कर उनके पास से एक अवैध देशी कट्टा और तीन जिंदा कारतूस बरामद किए हैं। इस कार्रवाई में हेड कांस्टेबल योगेन्द्र की नेतृत्व में पुलिस टीम की भूमिका अहम रही।

सूचना के अनुसार, हेड कांस्टेबल योगेन्द्र अपनी टीम—कांस्टेबल पारसराम, भानुप्रताप और पंकज के साथ नियमित गश्त पर थे। दोपहर करीब 12:58 बजे उन्हें विश्वसनीय मुखबिर से सूचना मिली कि दो संदिग्ध व्यक्ति अवैध हथियारों के साथ सड़क आम सत्तासर से 465 आर.डी. के पास डी.ओ.एल. पुली की ओर जा रहे हैं और संभवतः किसी अपराध की फिराक में हैं।

पुलिस ने तुरंत योजना बनाकर घेराबंदी की और करीब 2:15 बजे दोनों संदिग्धों को मौके पर देखकर रुकने का इशारा किया। लेकिन दोनों भागने लगे। मुस्तैदी दिखाते हुए पुलिस टीम ने उनका पीछा कर उन्हें पकड़ लिया।

पूछताछ में पहले ने अपना नाम संजय वर्मा, पुत्र राजकुमार, उम्र 27 वर्ष, जाति कुम्हार, निवासी देवरथ की ढाणी, श्रीगंगानगर बताया, जबकि दूसरे ने खुद को भूपेन्द्र कुमार, पुत्र घूड़ाराम, उम्र 30 वर्ष, जाति यादव, निवासी पोस्ट ऑफिस बाजूवाला, बीपीडी, रायसिंहनगर बताया।

तलाशी के दौरान दोनों के पास से एक अवैध देशी कट्टा व तीन जिंदा कारतूस बरामद हुए। पुलिस ने आर्म्स एक्ट के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज कर दोनों को हिरासत में ले लिया है। आगे की जांच जारी है।

फ्लश आउट अभियान के तहत बीकानेर रेंज पुलिस संगठित अपराध और अवैध गतिविधियों पर लगाम कसने के लिए सख्त रवैया अपना रही है। पुलिस की इस कार्रवाई से क्षेत्र में कानून व्यवस्था को लेकर विश्वास बढ़ा है।

Bikaner: In a decisive move under the ongoing ‘Flush Out Operation’ in Bikaner Range, Chhatargarh Police arrested two suspects on Monday afternoon and recovered an illegal country-made pistol along with three live cartridges from their possession. The operation was led by Head Constable Yogendra, whose prompt action played a vital role in the arrest.

As per the information, Head Constable Yogendra along with his team—Constables Parsaram, Bhanupratap, and Pankaj—was on routine patrol. Around 12:58 PM, they received a tip-off from a reliable informer that two suspicious individuals, possibly planning a crime, were moving towards the DOL bridge near 465 RD on the Sadak Aam Sattasar route carrying illegal arms.

The police acted swiftly, reached the location, and spotted the suspects around 2:15 PM. On seeing the police, the two tried to flee, but the alert team chased and apprehended them.

During initial questioning, the first suspect identified himself as Sanjay Verma, son of Rajkumar, 27 years old, belonging to the Kumhar community, resident of Dewrath ki Dhani, Sri Ganganagar. The second accused was Bhupendra Kumar, son of Ghoodaram, aged 30, from Yadav community, resident of Post Office Bajuwala, BPD, Raisinghnagar, Sri Ganganagar.

A search of the suspects led to the recovery of one illegal country-made pistol and three live cartridges. A case has been registered under the Arms Act, and further investigation is underway.

Bikaner Range Police is intensifying its crackdown on crime and illegal activities under the Flush Out Operation, and this arrest marks another success in ensuring public safety and law enforcement in the region.
