मुख्यमंत्री भजन लाल शर्मा ने BRO की भूमिका की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि “हर सड़क जो BRO राजस्थान में बनाता है, उसकी दो पहचान होती है—वह एक ओर टैंकों और सैन्य काफ़िलों का बोझ उठाती है और दूसरी ओर गांववासियों के लिए उम्मीद और जीवन का रास्ता खोलती है।”
उन्होंने भरोसा दिलाया कि राज्य सरकार BRO को हर प्रकार का सहयोग देगी—भूमि अधिग्रहण से लेकर प्रशासनिक अनुमति और स्थानीय एजेंसियों के साथ तालमेल तक। मुख्यमंत्री ने BRO के आपदा प्रबंधन में योगदान का भी विशेष उल्लेख किया, विशेषकर रेतीले तूफानों और बाढ़ जैसी स्थितियों में।
सीमावर्ती जिलों पर विशेष ध्यान
बैठक में जैसलमेर, बाड़मेर, बीकानेर और श्रीगंगानगर जैसे संवेदनशील जिलों पर विशेष ध्यान दिया गया। इन क्षेत्रों में BRO की परियोजनाएं भारत की रक्षा तैयारियों के लिए अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण मानी जाती हैं।

In a high-level meeting underscoring the critical link between infrastructure and national security, Director General Border Roads (DGBR) Lt Gen Raghu Srinivasan, PVSM, VSM, called on the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, in Jaipur.
