भारत और रूस के बीच गहराते संबंधों के बीच एक हैरान कर देने वाला मामला सामने आया है, जिसने न केवल राजनयिक हलकों को चिंता में डाल दिया है बल्कि राजस्थान और हरियाणा के ग्रामीण परिवारों को गहरे सदमे में डाल दिया है। मामला उन भारतीय युवाओं से जुड़ा है जिन्हें पढ़ाई और नौकरी के बहाने रूस ले जाया गया और बाद में छल से सेना में भर्ती कराकर यूक्रेन सीमा पर भेज दिया गया। यह खुलासा तब हुआ जब बीकानेर जिले के अर्जनसर स्टेशन निवासी महावीर प्रसाद गोदारा ने बताया कि उनका बेटा अजय कुमार गोदारा पिछले साल नवंबर 2024 में पढ़ाई के उद्देश्य से रूस गया था, लेकिन अब वह और उसके साथी रूस-यूक्रेन युद्ध में बंधक जैसी स्थिति में फंस चुके हैं।

पढ़ाई से युद्धभूमि तक: अजय गोदारा की दर्दनाक कहानी
28 नवंबर 2024 को अजय कुमार गोदारा रूस पढ़ाई करने के लिए स्टडी वीजा पर रवाना हुआ था। वहां पहुंचने के कुछ ही समय बाद उसकी मुलाकात एक महिला से हुई जिसने भरोसा दिलाया कि वह उन्हें सेना में नौकरी दिलवा सकती है। उसने अजय और उसके साथियों को रूसी भाषा में छपे कुछ दस्तावेज भरवाए और हस्ताक्षर करवाए। मासूम युवाओं ने भाषा की समझ न होने के कारण उन दस्तावेजों पर आंख मूंदकर साइन कर दिए। इसके बाद उन्हें सेना की वर्दी थमा दी गई और हथियार पकड़ाकर यूक्रेन सीमा पर भेज दिया गया।
परिवार को मिली जानकारी के अनुसार, अजय और उसके साथियों को लगातार धमकियों और मारपीट के जरिए दबाव में रखा गया। उनकी निजी पहचान से जुड़े दस्तावेज भी छीन लिए गए ताकि वे भागकर कहीं शिकायत न कर सकें।

तीन दर्जन से अधिक भारतीय युवा फंसे
अजय गोदारा अकेला नहीं है, उसके साथ हरियाणा और राजस्थान के करीब तीन दर्जन युवा इसी तरह रूस की सेना में जबरन भर्ती कर दिए गए हैं। इनमें बीकानेर, चूरू, झुंझुनूं और हरियाणा के हिसार, भिवानी और रोहतक जैसे इलाकों के युवक शामिल बताए जा रहे हैं। सूत्रों के अनुसार, सभी को सीमा पर तैनात कर दिया गया है और उनके पास न तो घर लौटने का रास्ता है और न ही खुद को बचाने का कोई जरिया।
अजय गोदारा के पिता महावीर प्रसाद कहते हैं, “हमारे बच्चे पढ़ाई करने गए थे, लेकिन अब उन्हें बंदूक पकड़ाकर युद्ध में धकेल दिया गया है। यह सीधा-सीधा मानवाधिकार का उल्लंघन है। हमें डर है कि कहीं हमारे बेटे और उसके साथी वहां मारे न जाएं।”

राजस्थान सरकार से केंद्र तक गुहार
मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए राजस्थान के खाद्य मंत्री सुमित गोदारा ने केंद्रीय कानून मंत्री अर्जुनराम मेघवाल से संपर्क किया और इस पर तुरंत कार्रवाई करने का आग्रह किया। इसके बाद मेघवाल ने विदेश मंत्रालय को ईमेल भेजा और भारतीय दूतावास, मास्को को इस घटना की पूरी जानकारी दी।
भारतीय दूतावास ने इस ईमेल का जवाब देते हुए कहा है कि आवश्यक कार्रवाई शीघ्र ही की जाएगी। हालांकि, परिवारजन इस बात से संतुष्ट नहीं हैं और तत्काल ठोस कदम उठाने की मांग कर रहे हैं।

दिल्ली में गुहार लगा रहे हैं परिजन
अजय गोदारा का भाई प्रकाश गोदारा पिछले कई दिनों से दिल्ली में है और लगातार केंद्रीय मंत्रियों से मुलाकात कर रहा है। उसने रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह, कानून मंत्री अर्जुनराम मेघवाल समेत कई वरिष्ठ नेताओं से मिलकर अपने भाई और अन्य युवाओं को बचाने की गुहार लगाई है। प्रकाश ने कहा, “यह केवल अजय की समस्या नहीं है, दर्जनों भारतीय युवा रूस की सेना में फंसे हैं। हम चाहते हैं कि भारत सरकार तुरंत रूस से बातचीत कर हमारे बच्चों को सुरक्षित वापस लाए।”

परिवारों में मातम और बेचैनी
गांव अर्जनसर और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में यह मामला चर्चा का विषय बना हुआ है। परिवारों में मातम जैसा माहौल है। मांएं अपने बच्चों के सुरक्षित लौटने की दुआएं कर रही हैं और पिता सरकारी दफ्तरों के चक्कर लगा रहे हैं। ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि सरकार को इस मामले पर तुरंत कड़ा कदम उठाना चाहिए क्योंकि यह केवल कूटनीतिक मुद्दा नहीं बल्कि इंसानी जिंदगी का सवाल है।

मानवीय संकट में फंसा भारत-रूस रिश्ता
यह मामला भारत-रूस संबंधों के लिए भी एक चुनौतीपूर्ण स्थिति पैदा कर रहा है। अब तक रूस को भारत का पारंपरिक सहयोगी माना जाता रहा है, लेकिन अगर भारतीय छात्रों और युवाओं को वहां इस तरह से जबरन भर्ती किया जा रहा है, तो यह अंतरराष्ट्रीय कानून और समझौतों के खिलाफ है। राजनयिकों का मानना है कि इस मामले की गूंज जल्द ही अंतरराष्ट्रीय मंचों पर भी सुनाई दे सकती है।

पीड़ित परिवारों की अपील
अजय के पिता महावीर प्रसाद और भाई प्रकाश का कहना है कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और विदेश मंत्री एस. जयशंकर को व्यक्तिगत रूप से इस मामले में हस्तक्षेप करना चाहिए और रूस सरकार से बातचीत कर इन युवाओं को सुरक्षित भारत लाना चाहिए।
गांव के बुजुर्गों ने कहा कि यह घटना सरकार और समाज के लिए एक चेतावनी है कि विदेशों में पढ़ाई और नौकरी के नाम पर युवाओं को ठगने वाले नेटवर्क कितने खतरनाक हैं।
यह मामला सिर्फ एक परिवार या एक गांव का नहीं है, बल्कि उन तमाम भारतीय युवाओं का है जिनके सपनों को विदेशों की धरती पर तोड़ा जा रहा है। अब देखने वाली बात यह होगी कि भारत सरकार अपने नागरिकों को बचाने के लिए कितनी जल्दी और कितनी सख्ती से कदम उठाती है।

A sensational and disturbing case has emerged that has left families in Rajasthan and Haryana devastated, and diplomatic circles in New Delhi deeply concerned. Reports suggest that dozens of young Indian students, lured to Russia under the pretext of education and employment opportunities, have instead been forcibly recruited into the Russian army and deployed along the volatile Ukraine border. Among them is Ajay Kumar Godara, a resident of Arjansar in Bikaner district, whose story has now become the focal point of a growing humanitarian and diplomatic crisis.

From Student Visa to Battlefield: The Ordeal of Ajay Godara

On November 28, 2024, Ajay Kumar Godara traveled to Russia on a study visa, aspiring to pursue his education and secure a better future. However, his plans took a tragic turn soon after his arrival. According to his family, Ajay came into contact with a woman who promised him and his companions lucrative job opportunities. She handed them forms written in Russian, which they were made to sign without understanding the language.

Believing it to be part of the employment process, the youths complied, only to find themselves being issued Russian military uniforms and firearms. Stripped of their documents and coerced through physical assault and threats, these young Indians were pushed into frontline military deployment against their will.

Over Three Dozen Indians Caught in a Trap

Ajay is not alone. Families claim that more than three dozen Indian youths, hailing from districts across Rajasthan and Haryana — including Bikaner, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Hisar, Bhiwani, and Rohtak — have been trapped in similar circumstances. Eyewitness accounts suggest that all of them are being held near the Russia-Ukraine border, forced into military duty under constant threat.

Ajay’s father, Mahavir Prasad Godara, voiced his anguish: “Our children went to study, but instead they have been handed guns and thrown into a war. This is not only illegal but a gross violation of human rights. We fear for their lives every single moment.”

State to Centre: Appeals for Immediate Action

The matter has already drawn the attention of political leaders. Rajasthan’s Food Minister, Sumit Godara, reached out to Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal to intervene. Meghwal, in turn, escalated the issue to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), alerting the Indian Embassy in Moscow.

In response, the Embassy assured that necessary action will be initiated soon. Yet, families remain unconvinced, insisting on urgent, concrete steps to ensure the safe return of their sons.

Families in Delhi: A Struggle for Justice

Meanwhile, Ajay’s brother, Prakash Godara, has been camped in Delhi for several days, tirelessly meeting senior leaders, including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Law Minister Meghwal. Speaking to the media, Prakash revealed: “This is not just about Ajay. Dozens of Indian youths are stuck in Russia’s army under duress. We urge the Indian government to open dialogue with Moscow immediately and bring them back before it is too late.”

Fear, Mourning, and Desperation in Villages

Back in Arjansar and nearby villages, grief and anxiety dominate the atmosphere. Mothers pray for their sons’ safety, while fathers continue knocking on government doors for help. Locals argue that this is not just a diplomatic challenge but a question of human survival.

A Strain on India-Russia Ties

This unprecedented incident could cast a shadow on India-Russia relations, which have historically been marked by trust and strategic cooperation. Analysts caution that if proven true, the forced conscription of Indian nationals into Russia’s military would not only breach international law but also attract international condemnation. It may even raise questions at the United Nations or other global forums.

Families’ Direct Appeal to PM Modi and EAM Jaishankar

Both Mahavir Prasad and his son Prakash have publicly appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar to personally intervene and secure the release of the trapped youths. Villagers and community leaders have echoed this demand, urging the government to act swiftly and decisively.

This crisis serves as a stark warning about the dangers faced by Indian youths abroad, especially from fraudulent recruitment networks operating under the guise of education and employment.
