Alleged Conspiracy to Subvert Judicial Process in Bikaner: Death Threats in the Name of Gangster Rohit Godara, Serious Allegations Against Former Kotgate SHO and Present Traffic CO Sanjay Bothra, Written Complaints and Court Records Lay Bare the Entire Case
A deeply disturbing and highly sensitive case has emerged from Rajasthan’s Bikaner district, raising alarming questions over the rule of law, police accountability, and the safety of witnesses within the judicial system. What initially appeared to be a long-pending criminal case has now unfolded into a complex web of alleged intimidation, abuse of authority, organised criminal threats, and attempts to derail an ongoing judicial process. The matter goes far beyond a single family’s grievance and points towards a systemic attempt to force the withdrawal of a court case through fear, pressure and the alleged misuse of gangster networks.
Written complaints, certified judicial orders, WhatsApp call records and supporting documents now available in the public domain lend documentary weight to the allegations, making the case one of the most serious challenges to the credibility of law enforcement mechanisms in the region.
The 2016 Incident: Allegations of Custodial Violence and Assault on Women Inside Kotgate Police Station
According to the detailed written complaint submitted by the complainant, Altaf Bano, wife of late Yunus Khan and resident of the Ganganagar Road area of Bikaner, the roots of the case lie in an incident dating back to 2016. At that time, Sanjay Bothra was posted as the Station House Officer at Kotgate Police Station, Bikaner. The complaint alleges that during his tenure, Bothra subjected her son Javed Khan and his friend Govardhan Chaudhary to physical assault while they were in police custody.
The matter allegedly escalated further when Altaf Bano, accompanied by her relatives, reached the police station to protest the custodial assault. The complaint states that Sanjay Bothra not only misbehaved with them but also physically assaulted the women present and outraged their modesty, an allegation that adds a grave gender and human rights dimension to the case.
Departmental Inquiry and Judicial Cognisance Strengthen the Case
Following the incident, senior police officers conducted an inquiry into the allegations. As per the complainant’s submission, the inquiry found Sanjay Bothra prima facie guilty, and an adverse report was submitted before the competent court. On the basis of the material available on record, the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bikaner, on 27 September 2018, took cognisance of the offence and initiated legal proceedings against Sanjay Bothra.
Subsequently, attempts by Bothra to challenge the proceedings before the Sessions Court and later the Rajasthan High Court were rejected, strengthening the judicial foundation of the case. At present, Sanjay Bothra is out on bail, while the trial continues in the court of law.
Alleged Weak Legal Position and Attempts to Influence Witnesses
The complaint repeatedly underlines that the prosecution case against Sanjay Bothra is supported by strong documentary and oral evidence, and there exists a substantial likelihood of conviction. It is precisely for this reason, the complainant alleges, that Bothra has been exerting continuous pressure on her and other witnesses to withdraw the case.
The complaint accuses him of attempting to tamper with witnesses, intimidate family members, and fabricate false cases to coerce them into submission. Such actions, if proven, would amount to a direct interference with the administration of justice.
Psychological Trauma and the Death of the Complainant’s Husband
One of the most tragic aspects of the case is the allegation that the sustained harassment, threats and fear inflicted upon the family had fatal consequences. The complainant states that her husband lived under constant psychological stress due to repeated intimidation and pressure. Over time, this mental trauma allegedly took a severe toll on his health, ultimately leading to his death.
This claim transforms the matter from a legal dispute into a profound human tragedy, highlighting the devastating impact prolonged intimidation can have on vulnerable families.
Threats of False Cases Against Family Members, Including NDPS Charges
The complaint further details that Sanjay Bothra has allegedly threatened to implicate the complainant’s sons Javed and Imran Khan, as well as her brother Firoz Khan, in false criminal cases. Of particular concern are allegations of threats involving the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, a law known for its stringent provisions and severe penalties.
Firoz Khan himself has filed separate cases against Bothra, including allegations of assault and preparation of forged documents, adding multiple legal fronts to the conflict.
WhatsApp Threats, History-Sheeters and the Shadow of Organised Crime
According to the complaint, Firoz Khan has been receiving threatening WhatsApp calls for several months. These calls allegedly originated from individuals acting at the behest of Sanjay Bothra, warning of dire consequences if the case was not withdrawn. The involvement of known history-sheeters, including a figure identified as Umed Singh ‘Goldy’, has been mentioned as part of this intimidation campaign.
The situation took a more sinister turn when the name of dreaded gangster Rohit Godara entered the narrative.
Death Threats in the Name of Gangster Rohit Godara
The complaint specifically mentions that on 20 December 2025, 21 December 2025 and again on 29 December 2025, WhatsApp calls and voice notes were received threatening the family with death if the case was not withdrawn. The caller identified himself as gangster Rohit Godara.
The mobile numbers used for these communications, as recorded in the complaint, begin with digits such as 82… and 92…, with the remaining digits withheld for security reasons. These threats have raised serious concerns about whether a real gangster network is involved or whether the gangster’s name is being misused to terrorise the family into silence.
Allegations of Police Harassment, Illegal Searches and Seizures
The complaint also accuses Sanjay Bothra of using his influence within the police force to repeatedly harass the family. It alleges that police personnel from Kotgate Police Station and other units are sent frequently to the complainant’s residence, where they allegedly enter the house forcibly, misbehave with family members, scatter household belongings and seize CCTV cameras, DVRs and important documents.
Even vehicles parked outside the residence are allegedly lifted without lawful justification, creating an atmosphere of constant fear and siege around the family.
Complaint to SP Bikaner and Alleged Administrative Inaction
Altaf Bano states that she approached the Superintendent of Police, Bikaner, with a detailed complaint outlining all these developments. However, she alleges that no effective action was taken, purportedly due to Sanjay Bothra’s influence within the police hierarchy. This alleged inaction has further deepened the family’s sense of vulnerability and abandonment by the system.
Demand for Suspension, Criminal Action and Immediate Police Protection
In her formal representation to senior authorities, the complainant has demanded the immediate suspension of Sanjay Bothra, who is currently posted as Circle Officer, Traffic Police, Ajmer. She has sought strict legal action against him and others involved, along with comprehensive police protection for herself, her children, relatives and all witnesses connected to the case.
A Stark Warning: Fixing Responsibility for Any Untoward Incident
In a strongly worded note attached to the complaint, Altaf Bano has categorically stated that if any harm comes to her or her family members, the responsibility will lie with Sanjay Bothra, his brother Arun Bothra, and gangster Rohit Godara. She has urged the authorities to register cases against all named individuals without delay.
Documentary Evidence Increases Pressure on Police and Administration
Copies of the Chief Judicial Magistrate’s cognisance order dated 27 September 2018, rejection orders from the Sessions Court and the Rajasthan High Court, along with WhatsApp call details and written complaints, have significantly strengthened the case. This is no longer a matter of unsubstantiated allegations but one supported by a trail of official records.
As the investigation progresses, this case has become a litmus test for the Rajasthan Police and the state administration. At stake are not just the safety of one family, but the credibility of the justice system itself. Whether the institutions will act decisively to protect witnesses and uphold the rule of law remains a question of immense public importance.

बीकानेर में न्यायिक प्रक्रिया को कुचलने की कथित साजिश: गैंगस्टर रोहित गोदारा के नाम पर जान से मारने की धमकियां, पूर्व कोटगेट थानाधिकारी व वर्तमान ट्रैफिक सीओ संजय बोथरा पर बेहद गंभीर आरोप, लिखित परिवाद, न्यायालयी आदेश और डिजिटल सबूतों से सामने आया पूरा मामला
राजस्थान के बीकानेर जिले से सामने आया यह मामला न केवल कानून-व्यवस्था पर, बल्कि पुलिसिया जवाबदेही, गवाहों की सुरक्षा और न्यायिक स्वतंत्रता पर भी गहरे सवाल खड़े करता है। यह प्रकरण किसी एक परिवार तक सीमित नहीं रह गया है, बल्कि अब यह एक ऐसे कथित तंत्र की ओर इशारा करता है, जहां न्यायालय में लंबित मुकदमे को जबरन वापस करवाने के लिए पुलिस प्रभाव, आपराधिक नेटवर्क और भय के वातावरण का इस्तेमाल किए जाने के गंभीर आरोप लगाए गए हैं। सामने आए लिखित परिवाद, न्यायालय के आदेश, व्हाट्सऐप कॉल रिकॉर्ड और अन्य दस्तावेज इस पूरे घटनाक्रम को केवल आरोप नहीं, बल्कि दस्तावेजों से समर्थित एक अत्यंत संवेदनशील और गंभीर मामला बनाते हैं।
वर्ष 2016 का मूल मामला: कोटगेट थाने में कथित कस्टोडियल मारपीट और महिलाओं से बदसलूकी के आरोप
प्रार्थिया अल्ताफ बानो पत्नी स्वर्गीय यूनुस खान, निवासी गंगाशहर रोड, बीकानेर द्वारा प्रस्तुत लिखित परिवाद के अनुसार, इस पूरे विवाद की जड़ वर्ष 2016 में घटित एक घटना है। उस समय संजय बोथरा कोटगेट थाना, बीकानेर में थानाधिकारी के पद पर तैनात थे। आरोप है कि उन्होंने पुलिस हिरासत में प्रार्थिया के पुत्र जावेद खान और उसके मित्र गोवर्धन चौधरी के साथ गंभीर मारपीट की।
जब इस घटना के विरोध में अल्ताफ बानो अपने रिश्तेदारों के साथ थाने पहुंची, तो आरोप है कि संजय बोथरा ने न केवल उनके साथ दुर्व्यवहार किया, बल्कि साथ आई महिलाओं के साथ मारपीट करते हुए उनकी लज्जा भंग की। यह आरोप इस मामले को और भी गंभीर बनाता है, क्योंकि इसमें महिला सम्मान और मानवाधिकारों से जुड़े गंभीर प्रश्न सामने आते हैं।
विभागीय जांच और न्यायालय द्वारा प्रसंज्ञान: आरोपों को मिला कानूनी आधार
घटना के बाद मामले की जांच उच्च पुलिस अधिकारियों द्वारा की गई। परिवाद के अनुसार, जांच में संजय बोथरा के विरुद्ध आरोप प्रथम दृष्टया प्रमाणित पाए गए और संबंधित रिपोर्ट न्यायालय में प्रस्तुत की गई। उपलब्ध साक्ष्यों के आधार पर मुख्य न्यायिक मजिस्ट्रेट, बीकानेर ने 27 सितंबर 2018 को संजय बोथरा के खिलाफ प्रसंज्ञान लेते हुए कानूनी कार्यवाही प्रारंभ करने का आदेश दिया।
इसके बाद संजय बोथरा द्वारा सत्र न्यायालय और राजस्थान उच्च न्यायालय में दायर याचिकाएं भी खारिज हो गईं। वर्तमान में संजय बोथरा इस प्रकरण में जमानत पर है, जबकि मामला विचाराधीन है।
न्यायालय में कमजोर स्थिति और गवाहों पर दबाव बनाने का आरोप
परिवाद में स्पष्ट रूप से उल्लेख किया गया है कि दस्तावेजी और मौखिक साक्ष्यों के आधार पर संजय बोथरा की इस मामले में स्थिति कमजोर है और उसके दोषसिद्ध होने की पूरी संभावना है। इसी आशंका के चलते वह प्रार्थिया, उसके पुत्रों और अन्य गवाहों पर लगातार दबाव बना रहा है, ताकि यह मुकदमा किसी भी तरह वापस लिया जा सके।
आरोप है कि गवाहों को डराने, बयान बदलवाने और झूठे मामलों में फंसाने की धमकियां दी जा रही हैं, जो सीधे तौर पर न्यायिक प्रक्रिया में हस्तक्षेप की श्रेणी में आता है।
लगातार मानसिक उत्पीड़न और पति की मृत्यु का गंभीर आरोप
मामले का एक अत्यंत पीड़ादायक पहलू यह है कि प्रार्थिया ने आरोप लगाया है कि निरंतर धमकियों, भय और मानसिक दबाव के कारण उनके पति गहरे तनाव में रहने लगे थे। यह मानसिक आघात धीरे-धीरे उनके स्वास्थ्य पर भारी पड़ा और अंततः उनकी मृत्यु हो गई। यह आरोप इस पूरे प्रकरण को केवल कानूनी विवाद नहीं, बल्कि एक मानवीय त्रासदी में बदल देता है।
परिवार के सदस्यों को झूठे मुकदमों में फंसाने की धमकी, एनडीपीएस जैसे गंभीर मामलों का डर
परिवाद के अनुसार, संजय बोथरा द्वारा प्रार्थिया के पुत्र जावेद खान, ईमरान खान और भाई फिरोज खान को लगातार झूठे मामलों में फंसाने की धमकियां दी जा रही हैं। विशेष रूप से एनडीपीएस जैसे कठोर कानूनों का नाम लेकर डराया जाना इस बात की ओर संकेत करता है कि दबाव बनाने के लिए गंभीर कानूनी हथकंडों का सहारा लिया जा रहा है।
फिरोज खान ने भी संजय बोथरा के खिलाफ मारपीट और फर्जी दस्तावेज तैयार करने को लेकर अलग मुकदमे दर्ज करवा रखे हैं, जिससे विवाद और अधिक गहराता चला गया है।
व्हाट्सऐप कॉल, हिस्ट्रीशीटर और आपराधिक नेटवर्क का कथित इस्तेमाल
परिवाद में कहा गया है कि फिरोज खान को पिछले कई महीनों से व्हाट्सऐप कॉल के माध्यम से धमकाया जा रहा है। आरोप है कि यह सब संजय बोथरा के इशारे पर किया जा रहा है। इन धमकियों में हिस्ट्रीशीटर उम्मेद सिंह ‘गोल्डी’ और अन्य बदमाशों का नाम भी सामने आया है।
यह मामला उस समय और भयावह हो गया, जब गैंगस्टर रोहित गोदारा का नाम इस पूरे घटनाक्रम में जुड़ गया।
गैंगस्टर रोहित गोदारा के नाम पर जान से मारने की धमकियां
परिवाद के अनुसार, दिनांक 20.12.2025, 21.12.2025 और 29.12.2025 को व्हाट्सऐप कॉल और वॉयस नोट्स के माध्यम से परिवार को जान से मारने की धमकियां दी गईं। कॉल करने वाले ने स्वयं को गैंगस्टर रोहित गोदारा बताया और स्पष्ट शब्दों में कहा कि यदि मुकदमा वापस नहीं लिया गया, तो पूरे परिवार को खत्म कर दिया जाएगा।
इन कॉल्स में प्रयुक्त मोबाइल नंबरों के शुरुआती अंक 82… और 92… बताए गए हैं, जबकि अंतिम अंक सुरक्षा कारणों से सार्वजनिक नहीं किए गए हैं। इससे यह आशंका और गहरी हो जाती है कि या तो गैंगस्टर नेटवर्क का वास्तविक इस्तेमाल हो रहा है या फिर उसके नाम का दुरुपयोग कर आतंक फैलाया जा रहा है।
घरों में पुलिस भेजने, जबरन तलाशी और सामान उठाने के गंभीर आरोप
परिवाद में यह भी आरोप लगाया गया है कि संजय बोथरा अपने प्रभाव का उपयोग कर बीकानेर पुलिस के माध्यम से बार-बार प्रार्थिया और उसके रिश्तेदारों के घरों पर पुलिस भेजता है। आरोप है कि पुलिसकर्मी बिना उचित कारण घरों में घुसते हैं, बदसलूकी करते हैं, घरेलू सामान बिखेर देते हैं और सीसीटीवी कैमरे, डीवीआर तथा महत्वपूर्ण दस्तावेज जब्त कर ले जाते हैं।
यहां तक कि घरों के बाहर खड़ी गाड़ियों को भी जबरन उठा ले जाने के आरोप लगाए गए हैं, जिससे परिवार पूरी तरह असुरक्षित महसूस कर रहा है।
एसपी बीकानेर को शिकायत, लेकिन प्रभाव के चलते कार्रवाई न होने का आरोप
अल्ताफ बानो ने इस पूरे मामले की शिकायत पुलिस अधीक्षक, बीकानेर को भी दी है। हालांकि, आरोप है कि संजय बोथरा के कथित प्रभाव के चलते अब तक कोई ठोस और प्रभावी कार्रवाई नहीं की गई। इससे पीड़ित परिवार का भरोसा प्रशासनिक व्यवस्था से लगभग टूट चुका है।
निलंबन, कड़ी कार्रवाई और सुरक्षा की मांग
प्रार्थिया ने मांग की है कि संजय बोथरा, जो वर्तमान में सीओ यातायात पुलिस, अजमेर के पद पर तैनात है, को तत्काल निलंबित किया जाए और उसके खिलाफ सख्त कानूनी कार्यवाही की जाए। साथ ही प्रार्थिया, उसके पुत्रों, भाई फिरोज खान और अन्य गवाहों को तत्काल पुलिस सुरक्षा उपलब्ध कराई जाए।
चेतावनी भरा बयान: किसी भी अनहोनी की जिम्मेदारी तय
परिवाद में स्पष्ट चेतावनी दी गई है कि यदि प्रार्थिया, उसके परिवार या किसी भी रिश्तेदार के साथ कोई अनहोनी होती है, तो इसके लिए संजय बोथरा, उसका भाई अरुण बोथरा और गैंगस्टर रोहित गोदारा जिम्मेदार होंगे। सभी नामजद व्यक्तियों के खिलाफ तत्काल मुकदमा दर्ज करने की मांग की गई है।
दस्तावेजों से मजबूत होता मामला, प्रशासन और सरकार के लिए बड़ी परीक्षा
मुख्य न्यायिक मजिस्ट्रेट, बीकानेर का प्रसंज्ञान आदेश, सत्र न्यायालय और उच्च न्यायालय द्वारा याचिकाएं खारिज किए जाने के आदेश, व्हाट्सऐप कॉल विवरण और लिखित परिवाद—ये सभी दस्तावेज इस मामले को अत्यंत मजबूत बनाते हैं। यह प्रकरण अब केवल एक परिवार की लड़ाई नहीं, बल्कि पूरे प्रशासन, पुलिस तंत्र और राज्य सरकार के लिए एक बड़ी परीक्षा बन चुका है।
अब सबसे बड़ा सवाल यह है कि क्या पीड़ित परिवार को समय रहते न्याय और सुरक्षा मिल पाएगी, या फिर दबाव, डर और प्रभाव के आगे न्यायिक प्रक्रिया कमजोर पड़ जाएगी। इस मामले की दिशा आने वाले समय में कानून के राज और लोकतांत्रिक संस्थाओं की मजबूती को परिभाषित करेगी।
