भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों के इतिहास में एक और स्वर्णिम अध्याय जुड़ गया जब इंडियन मिलिट्री नर्सिंग सर्विस (MNS) ने अपने सौवें वर्ष के उपलक्ष्य में एक अभूतपूर्व अंडरवाटर अभियान “Aquacentum 2025” को सफलतापूर्वक पूरा किया। यह सिर्फ एक साहसिक अभियान नहीं था, बल्कि समर्पण, अनुशासन और देशभक्ति की एक प्रतीकात्मक यात्रा थी, जिसमें 10 सदस्यीय टीम ने समुद्र की गहराइयों में भारतीय तिरंगे को लहराकर इतिहास रच दिया।
इस अभियान का नेतृत्व लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल रश्मि शर्मा ने किया, जबकि लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल डैपल डी. वान्खर ने उपनेता के रूप में टीम को दिशा दी। इस दल को आईएनएचएस धन्वंतरी (INHS Dhanvantri) में आयोजित समारोह में सर्जन कमोडोर प्रशांत पांडा, चीफ स्टाफ ऑफिसर (मेडिकल), और ब्रिगेडियर किरन जीत, ब्रिगेडियर एमएनएस (P&T) द्वारा सम्मानित किया गया।
इस अवसर पर उन्होंने कहा कि “Aquacentum 2025” सिर्फ एक अंडरवाटर अभियान नहीं, बल्कि भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों में महिला शक्ति, दृढ़ता और राष्ट्रप्रेम की गहराई का प्रतीक है। इस आयोजन का नारा — “A Century of Boundless Courage and Resilience – Navigating into the Depths” — यानी ‘असीम साहस और धैर्य का शतक, गहराइयों में सफ़र’ — मिलिट्री नर्सिंग सर्विस की अदम्य भावना का सार प्रस्तुत करता है।
सेवा की गहराइयों में उतरने वाला अभियान
Aquacentum 2025 का उद्देश्य केवल रोमांच या खेल प्रतियोगिता नहीं था। यह उस अदृश्य शक्ति का प्रतीक था जो भारतीय मिलिट्री नर्सिंग सर्विस की आत्मा में बसती है — सेवा, साहस और सशक्तता की भावना।

लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल रश्मि शर्मा ने समारोह में कहा —
“यह गोता केवल एक अभियान नहीं था, बल्कि यह हर उस नर्स को सलाम था जिसने युद्ध के मैदान में, अस्पतालों में, प्राकृतिक आपदाओं के बीच, हर परिस्थिति में डटी रही — और आज समुद्र की गहराइयों तक पहुंचकर यह साबित किया कि हमारी हिम्मत की कोई सीमा नहीं।”

भारतीय मिलिट्री नर्सिंग सर्विस ने इस वर्ष अपनी स्थापना के 100 वर्ष पूरे किए हैं।
बीते सौ वर्षों में MNS की बहादुर अधिकारी हर संघर्ष और हर मोर्चे पर देश की रक्षा के लिए डटी रहीं।
1947 के विभाजन से लेकर 1965 और 1971 के भारत-पाक युद्धों तक,
Kargil युद्ध से लेकर संयुक्त राष्ट्र शांति मिशनों तक,
और COVID-19 जैसी वैश्विक महामारी से लेकर मानवीय आपदाओं तक —
हर जगह MNS ने अपने साहस, संवेदना और सेवा भाव से भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों का गौरव बढ़ाया है।
आज जब MNS अपना शताब्दी वर्ष मना रहा है, Aquacentum 2025 उस गौरवशाली यात्रा का प्रतीक बन गया है —
एक संदेश कि मिलिट्री नर्सिंग सर्विस केवल बीमारों की देखभाल नहीं करती,

ब्रिगेडियर किरन जीत ने इस अवसर पर कहा —
“Aquacentum 2025 मिलिट्री नर्सिंग सर्विस की आत्मा का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है — अनुशासन, समर्पण और संकल्प। हमारी अधिकारी युद्ध के मैदानों से लेकर अब समुद्र की गहराइयों तक इतिहास रच रही हैं, यह साबित करते हुए कि सेवा की भावना किसी भी वातावरण की मोहताज नहीं होती।”
INHS धन्वंतरी में सम्मान समारोह — गर्व और गौरव का क्षण
कोच्चि स्थित नौसेना अस्पताल INHS धन्वंतरी में आयोजित इस समारोह में मेडिकल अफसरों, नौसेना कर्मियों और प्रशिक्षुओं ने MNS की टीम का गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया।
सर्जन कमोडोर प्रशांत पांडा ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि इस तरह के अभियान सैनिकों और चिकित्सा अधिकारियों के लिए मनोवैज्ञानिक सहनशक्ति, टीम स्पिरिट और तनाव प्रबंधन को मजबूत बनाते हैं।
उन्होंने कहा —
“समुद्र की गहराइयों में लहराया गया यह तिरंगा इस बात का प्रतीक है कि भारत का झंडा केवल आकाश में ही नहीं, धरती और समुद्र के नीचे भी सम्मान के साथ लहराता है।”
वर्दी में महिलाएं — सीमाओं को लांघती शक्ति
Aquacentum 2025 का सबसे बड़ा संदेश यह है कि भारतीय महिला सैनिक अब किसी भी सीमा में सीमित नहीं हैं।
वे केवल सेवा करने वाली नहीं, बल्कि नेतृत्व करने वाली हैं —
