The third edition of the two-day Aravali International Film Festival organised at the NDMC Convention Centre New Delhi received an enthusiastic response from the filmmakers and viewers. The festival witnessed the screening of choicest 27 films out of 286 films received across globe followed by the interaction with the cast and crew members of the screened films. Director of the Aravali International Film Festival Dr.Avnish Rajvanshi informed that many distinguished personalities graced the inaugural as well as award ceremony including Union Minister of State Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, BJP general secretary Chhattisgarh Prabal Pratap singh Judev, Prof.KG Suresh Vice Chancellor Makhanlal Chaturvedi National Journalism University, Director of AFT Sandeep Marwah, renowned actress from Bollywood Himani Shivpuri , IIMC Director general Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi, NDMC Vice-Chairman Satish Upadhyay, and other Bollywood personalities

The film “A Day in the Life of Refugees” bagged the award of the best film under the refugee challenges category. It was highly acclaimed and praised by the jury member Dr Sonu Shiva for its global appeal as it deals with an issue which is pushed under the carpet for decades now. The film “ Rizwan” bagged the best biopic category award. The film was appreciated for the inspirational journey of Dr Rizwan adatia as entrepreneur The other awarded films include “Crushed Wings” “Transit” “ A Pilgrimage into Tibet” “ Fear” “ Belosa” and many more under various categories. The festival was hosted by a well-known singer Kamolika.
