Army Lance Naik Sent to Jail in Alleged Rohit Godara Gang Arms Supply Case; Military Police Questioned Him in Sikar
Army Lance Naik Bhopal Singh Rajawat, who was arrested in connection with the alleged supply of weapons to the Rohit Godara gang, has been sent to judicial custody. Rajawat, a resident of Minda village in the Nawa area, was questioned by Military Police officials who reached Sikar on Tuesday. Following the questioning, Sikar Police produced him before a court, which sent him to jail. The development has also raised the possibility of disciplinary proceedings, including a court-martial, depending on the findings of the military investigation.
Military Police Investigation Underway as Army Examines Alleged Involvement of Serving Personnel
According to police, Military Police officials questioned Rajawat as part of the investigation into the alleged weapons supply network. Authorities are examining whether the accused used his position, uniform or military vehicle in connection with the alleged delivery of weapons. Under applicable military procedures, allegations involving serving personnel can also trigger a separate military inquiry and disciplinary action, subject to the facts established during the investigation.
Police Launch Raids Across Shekhawati and Other Areas Following Interrogation
Based on the information obtained during questioning, Sikar Police and the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) have launched searches at multiple locations in Shekhawati and other areas. Police allege that several individuals linked to the gang were in contact with Rajawat during the alleged weapons supply operation. Investigators are now attempting to identify the wider network involved in receiving, transporting and concealing the weapons.
Police Allege Weapons Were Delivered in Jaipur During May-June
According to the police investigation, Rajawat allegedly supplied a Zigana pistol and other weapons in Jaipur during May-June to Babulal Sharma and Akshay Gurjar, allegedly acting on instructions from gang members operating from abroad. Police claim the weapons were intended for an alleged attack on a businessman from the Shekhawati region. Investigators further allege that Rajawat arrived for the delivery wearing his Army uniform and travelling in an Army vehicle. Police say CCTV footage became an important part of the investigation into the alleged delivery.
Investigation Indicates Alleged Surveillance of Three Shekhawati Businessmen
Police allege that members of the network had carried out surveillance of three businessmen from the Shekhawati region and were allegedly preparing for an attack after receiving instructions from gang members abroad. Investigators subsequently identified suspects allegedly involved in conducting reconnaissance and providing other forms of assistance to the network. One of the suspects, identified as Pradeep from Laxmangarh, was arrested, and police claim that two pistols and 20 rounds were recovered from his possession.
Alleged Weapons Trail Leads From Jaipur to Pradeep and Then to Gulab Singh
According to police, Babulal Sharma and Akshay Gurjar, who were arrested in Jaipur, allegedly received weapons from the Army personnel and subsequently handed them over to Pradeep near Sanwali Tiraha. Police allege that Pradeep later passed two pistols and 43 rounds to Gulab Singh near the Rasidpura toll area, while retaining two pistols and 20 rounds. Investigators are now attempting to establish the complete chain of movement of the weapons and identify every person allegedly involved.
Earlier AGTF Operation Led to Arrest of Babulal Sharma and Akshay Gurjar
On June 16, acting on AGTF inputs, police arrested Babulal Sharma alias Babu Pandit, a resident of Sawai Madhopur, and Akshay Kumar Gurjar from the Transport Nagar area. Police said a China-made pistol, 40 rounds and three mobile phones were recovered from Babulal. From Akshay, investigators allegedly recovered a pistol, two empty magazines, 130 rounds and an iPhone. During interrogation, police said the suspects disclosed that weapons had allegedly been transported through a serving Army personnel on instructions from gang members based abroad.
Search of Apartment Leads to Alleged Recovery of Zigana and Other Foreign-Made Weapons
Following the information obtained during interrogation, AGTF and Sikar Police expanded the search operation. Police subsequently arrested Gulab Singh, a resident of Laxmangarh, from an apartment. During a search of the premises, investigators allegedly recovered a Turkish-made Zigana pistol, another foreign-made pistol and ammunition. The recovery is now being examined as part of the alleged weapons supply chain connected to the Rohit Godara gang.
Investigation Focuses on Overseas Links, Arms Network and Possible Further Arrests
The investigation is now focused on identifying the alleged overseas handlers, tracing the source of the foreign-made weapons, establishing the complete communication chain and determining the role of each suspect. Police are also examining digital evidence, CCTV footage, mobile phones and other material collected during the investigation. Further arrests and additional recoveries remain possible as Sikar Police and AGTF continue their searches.
रोहित गोदारा गैंग को हथियार सप्लाई करने के मामले में सेना का जवान भोपाल सिंह जेल भेजा गया, मिलिट्री पुलिस ने भी की पूछताछ
रोहित गोदारा गैंग को कथित तौर पर हथियार सप्लाई करने के मामले में गिरफ्तार सेना के जवान लांस नायक भोपाल सिंह राजावत को कोर्ट ने जेल भेज दिया है। नावां क्षेत्र के मिंडा गांव निवासी भोपाल सिंह से पूछताछ के लिए मंगलवार को मिलिट्री पुलिस के अधिकारी भी सीकर पहुंचे। मिलिट्री पुलिस की पूछताछ के बाद सीकर पुलिस ने आरोपी को कोर्ट में पेश किया, जहां से उसे न्यायिक हिरासत में जेल भेज दिया गया। मामले में अब सेना की ओर से भी जांच और अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई की संभावना जताई जा रही है, जिसमें तथ्यों के आधार पर कोर्ट मार्शल की कार्रवाई भी संभव हो सकती है।
सेना के जवान की कथित भूमिका की अलग से जांच, मिलिट्री पुलिस ने जुटाई जानकारी
पुलिस के अनुसार भोपाल सिंह से मिलिट्री पुलिस अधिकारियों ने हथियारों की कथित सप्लाई और इस पूरे नेटवर्क में उसकी भूमिका को लेकर पूछताछ की। जांच एजेंसियां यह भी पता लगाने में जुटी हैं कि क्या आरोपी ने अपनी सैन्य पहचान, वर्दी या सेना के वाहन का इस्तेमाल कथित हथियार डिलीवरी में किया था। सेना के किसी सेवारत जवान के खिलाफ अपराध में संलिप्तता के आरोप सामने आने पर सैन्य नियमों के तहत अलग से जांच और अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई की प्रक्रिया भी चल सकती है।
पूछताछ के बाद शेखावाटी समेत कई इलाकों में सीकर पुलिस और एजीटीएफ की छापेमारी
भोपाल सिंह से अब तक हुई पूछताछ के आधार पर सीकर पुलिस और एंटी गैंगस्टर टास्क फोर्स यानी एजीटीएफ ने शेखावाटी सहित कई अन्य इलाकों में संदिग्धों की तलाश के लिए सर्च अभियान शुरू कर दिया है। पुलिस का दावा है कि हथियारों की कथित सप्लाई के दौरान गैंग से जुड़े कई बदमाश भोपाल सिंह के संपर्क में थे। अब जांच एजेंसियां हथियार हासिल करने, उन्हें आगे पहुंचाने और संभावित वारदात की तैयारी में शामिल अन्य लोगों की पहचान करने में जुटी हैं।
मई-जून में जयपुर के सीकर रोड पर कथित हथियार डिलीवरी, वर्दी और सेना की गाड़ी का दावा
पुलिस के अनुसार विदेश में बैठे गोदारा गैंग से जुड़े बदमाशों के कथित निर्देश पर भोपाल सिंह ने मई-जून के दौरान जयपुर में सीकर रोड पर बाबूलाल शर्मा और अक्षय गुर्जर को जिगाना पिस्टल सहित अन्य हथियार सप्लाई किए थे। पुलिस का दावा है कि ये हथियार शेखावाटी के एक व्यापारी की कथित हत्या की साजिश के लिए मंगवाए गए थे। जांच में यह भी सामने आने का दावा किया गया है कि हथियारों की डिलीवरी के दौरान जवान सेना की वर्दी में और सेना की गाड़ी से पहुंचा था। पुलिस के अनुसार CCTV फुटेज में भी कथित डिलीवरी से संबंधित जानकारी सामने आई है।
शेखावाटी के तीन कारोबारियों की कथित रैकी, विदेश से इशारे का इंतजार करने का आरोप
पुलिस के अनुसार गैंग से जुड़े बदमाशों ने शेखावाटी के तीन कारोबारियों की कथित तौर पर रैकी करवा रखी थी और विदेश में बैठे गैंग से जुड़े लोगों से इशारा मिलने के बाद हमले की तैयारी की जा रही थी। जांच के दौरान पुलिस ने रैकी करने और गैंग की कथित तौर पर अन्य तरीके से मदद करने वाले संदिग्धों की पहचान शुरू की। इसी कार्रवाई में लक्ष्मणगढ़ निवासी प्रदीप को गिरफ्तार किया गया। पुलिस के अनुसार उसके कब्जे से दो पिस्टल और 20 कारतूस बरामद किए गए।
जयपुर से मिले हथियारों की कथित सप्लाई चेन प्रदीप से गुलाब सिंह तक पहुंची
पुलिस के मुताबिक जयपुर में गिरफ्तार किए गए अक्षय कुमार गुर्जर और बाबूलाल शर्मा ने फौजी से मिले कथित हथियार सांवली तिराहे के पास प्रदीप को दिए थे। पुलिस का आरोप है कि इसके बाद प्रदीप ने इनमें से दो पिस्टल और 43 कारतूस रसीदपुरा टोल के पास गुलाब सिंह को दे दिए, जबकि दो पिस्टल और 20 कारतूस अपने पास रख लिए। जांच एजेंसियां अब इस कथित हथियार सप्लाई चेन में शामिल सभी कड़ियों की पहचान और हथियारों की आवाजाही का पूरा नेटवर्क खंगाल रही हैं।
16 जून को AGTF की सूचना पर बाबूलाल और अक्षय गिरफ्तार, बड़ी मात्रा में हथियार बरामद
एजीटीएफ की सूचना पर 16 जून को पुलिस ने ट्रांसपोर्ट नगर इलाके में सवाई माधोपुर निवासी बाबूलाल शर्मा उर्फ बाबू पंडित और अक्षय कुमार गुर्जर को गिरफ्तार किया था। पुलिस के अनुसार बाबूलाल के कब्जे से चाइना मेड पिस्टल, 40 कारतूस और तीन मोबाइल फोन बरामद किए गए। वहीं अक्षय के पास से एक पिस्टल, दो खाली मैगजीन, 130 कारतूस और एक आईफोन बरामद होने का दावा किया गया। पूछताछ के दौरान पुलिस के अनुसार सामने आया कि हथियार कथित तौर पर विदेश में बैठे गैंग से जुड़े लोगों के निर्देश पर एक फौजी के जरिए पहुंचाए गए थे।
अपार्टमेंट में तलाशी के दौरान तुर्की मेड जिगाना सहित विदेशी हथियार बरामद करने का दावा
पूछताछ से मिली जानकारी के आधार पर एजीटीएफ और सीकर पुलिस ने सर्च अभियान को आगे बढ़ाया। इसी दौरान लक्ष्मणगढ़ निवासी गुलाब सिंह को एक अपार्टमेंट से गिरफ्तार किया गया। पुलिस के अनुसार उसके फ्लैट की तलाशी के दौरान तुर्की मेड जिगाना पिस्टल, एक अन्य विदेशी पिस्टल और कारतूस बरामद किए गए। पुलिस अब इन हथियारों को उस कथित सप्लाई नेटवर्क से जोड़कर जांच कर रही है, जिसके तार रोहित गोदारा गैंग से जुड़े होने का दावा किया जा रहा है।
विदेश में बैठे गैंगस्टरों के कथित नेटवर्क, हथियारों के स्रोत और डिजिटल सबूतों की जांच
अब जांच का फोकस विदेश में बैठे कथित गैंग सदस्यों, हथियारों के स्रोत, उनके भारत तक पहुंचने के रास्ते और पूरे नेटवर्क में शामिल लोगों की भूमिका पर है। पुलिस मोबाइल फोन, CCTV फुटेज और अन्य डिजिटल साक्ष्यों की भी जांच कर रही है। एजेंसियां यह पता लगाने की कोशिश कर रही हैं कि हथियारों की कथित सप्लाई में और कौन-कौन लोग शामिल थे तथा संभावित वारदात की तैयारी में किस स्तर तक नेटवर्क सक्रिय था। जांच आगे बढ़ने के साथ और गिरफ्तारियां तथा हथियार बरामद होने की संभावना से भी इनकार नहीं किया जा रहा है।
