Over 700 Veterans from Rajasthan and Haryana Participate in the Grand Reunion
The presence of more than 700 veterans from Rajasthan and Haryana demonstrated the trust and emotional bond shared between Assam Rifles and its veteran fraternity. Many attendees had served in some of the country’s most challenging operational environments, particularly in the Northeast, where Assam Rifles has played a pivotal role in counter-insurgency, border management and maintaining peace.For the participants, the rally was not merely an official function. It was an opportunity to reconnect with comrades, engage directly with serving officers and raise issues affecting their welfare. Veer Naris and Gallantry Awardees Receive Special Honours
One of the most poignant moments of the event was the felicitation of eight Veer Naris and six gallantry award winners. These individuals were honoured for their extraordinary courage, sacrifice and distinguished service to the nation.The Veer Naris represented the enduring strength and resilience of families who have borne the ultimate sacrifice in service of India. Gallantry awardees, whose acts of bravery embody the highest traditions of military service, were recognized with deep respect and gratitude.

Welfare Help Desks Provide On-the-Spot Assistance
A key feature of the rally was the establishment of dedicated help desks to address pension matters, ECHS facilities, grievance redressal, documentation issues and information on various welfare schemes.Veterans and dependents received direct assistance from knowledgeable officials who helped resolve pending issues and guided them through administrative procedures. Medical consultations and rehabilitation support were also provided.
This practical support transformed the rally from a ceremonial event into a meaningful welfare initiative capable of delivering tangible benefits.
Assam Rifles Outreach Programme Continues to Expand Across India
The Jaipur rally formed part of the broader Assam Rifles Outreach Programme, which aims to connect with veterans, Veer Naris, widows and dependents across the country.The programme is designed to identify concerns, resolve grievances on the spot whenever possible and ensure continued institutional engagement. It also includes outreach to bedridden veterans and next of kin, ensuring that support reaches those unable to travel.
Financial assistance is extended in deserving cases based on individual circumstances, reflecting a compassionate and responsive approach.
Impressive National Outreach in 17 States
Under this initiative, Assam Rifles teams have visited 44 locations across 17 states and interacted with 8,992 veterans, Veer Naris and dependents.In addition, 66 bedridden veterans and next of kin have been personally visited and assisted. These figures highlight the scale and seriousness of the force’s commitment to its extended family.

रैली में पूर्व सैनिकों और उनके आश्रितों की वास्तविक समस्याओं के समाधान हेतु अनेक विशेष हेल्प डेस्क स्थापित किए गए। इन डेस्कों पर पेंशन संबंधी मामलों, ECHS सुविधाओं, दस्तावेज़ी सहायता, शिकायत निवारण तथा विभिन्न सरकारी और सैन्य कल्याणकारी योजनाओं की जानकारी दी गई। अधिकारियों ने मौके पर ही कई मामलों का समाधान किया और लंबित मुद्दों के लिए आवश्यक मार्गदर्शन प्रदान किया।
चिकित्सा परामर्श और पुनर्वास सहायता ने कार्यक्रम को बनाया सार्थक
कार्यक्रम के दौरान चिकित्सा परामर्श की सुविधाएं भी उपलब्ध कराई गईं। वरिष्ठ नागरिकों और आश्रितों को स्वास्थ्य संबंधी सलाह, उपचार विकल्प और पुनर्वास योजनाओं की जानकारी दी गई। इससे यह सुनिश्चित किया गया कि कार्यक्रम केवल सम्मान तक सीमित न रहकर वास्तविक कल्याणकारी सहायता का माध्यम बने।

17 राज्यों के 44 स्थानों पर पहुंची असम राइफल्स की टीम, 8,992 लाभार्थियों से संवाद
इस अभियान के अंतर्गत असम राइफल्स की टीमें अब तक 17 राज्यों के 44 स्थानों का दौरा कर चुकी हैं। इस दौरान कुल 8,992 पूर्व सैनिकों, वीर नारियों और आश्रितों से संवाद किया गया। इसके अतिरिक्त 66 शय्याग्रस्त पूर्व सैनिकों और निकट संबंधियों से व्यक्तिगत रूप से मिलकर उन्हें सहायता प्रदान की गई। यह आंकड़े बताते हैं कि यह पहल केवल घोषणाओं तक सीमित नहीं, बल्कि जमीनी स्तर पर प्रभावी रूप से संचालित की जा रही है।
योग्य मामलों में आर्थिक सहायता भी उपलब्ध कराई जा रही है
