Assam Rifles Organizes Cleanliness Drive as Part of Swatch Bharat Abhiyaan in Ukhrul District   

As part of Swatch Bharat Abhiyaan, Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted a joint cleanliness drive alongwith the villagers of Awangkasom village, Ukhrul district on 28 Oct 2023.

This drive was aimed at spreading awareness on the importance of cleanliness as part of Swatch Bharat Abhiyaan and also to make the area of Awangkasom village clean and green. People of all age group took part in the drive enthusiastically.

The village authorities and the villagers applauded the efforts made by Assam Rifles for undertaking the initiative. The sight of the much cleaner village at the end of the day was a befitting reward for the hard work put in by all to make it happen.
