The corridors of Bikaner Boys School (BBS) are echoing with nostalgia, laughter, and pride as the institution hosts its much-awaited Alumni Meet – “The Reunion” – on September 6, 2025. The date holds a deeply emotional significance as it coincides with the birth anniversary of Shaheed Major James Thomas, one of the most decorated and courageous alumni of BBS, who laid down his life in the line of duty for the nation.

This year’s Alumni Meet has broken all past records of participation. With more than 400 alumni registrations and many attending with their families, the school is expecting a turnout of nearly 800 to 1000 participants, making it one of the grandest reunions in its illustrious history. The spirit of celebration is not only about reliving school memories but also about honoring the sacrifices and achievements of those who once walked these very hallways.

A Celebration of Legacy and Brotherhood

The evening promises to be a vibrant blend of emotion, culture, and remembrance. Alumni from across India and abroad are coming together to reconnect, share stories of their school days, and reignite friendships that time could never diminish. What makes the gathering even more special is the presence of former principals, teachers, and managers of the school, symbolizing a bridge between generations.

As a mark of respect, the program will also pay tribute to Major James Thomas, reminding the young generation of the values of courage, sacrifice, and patriotism that Bikaner Boys School instills in its students.

बीकानेर बॉयज़ स्कूल (BBS) का आंगन आज पुराने दिनों की यादों, आत्मीय मिलन और गौरव की भावनाओं से गूंज उठा। अवसर था बहुप्रतीक्षित पूर्व छात्र मिलन “द रीयूनियन” का, जो इस वर्ष विशेष महत्व रखता है क्योंकि यह आयोजन शहीद मेजर जेम्स थॉमस की जयंती पर हो रहा है। मेजर थॉमस, बीबीएस के गौरवशाली पूर्व छात्र, जिन्होंने राष्ट्र की सेवा में अपने प्राण न्यौछावर कर दिए।

सबसे बड़ा मिलन समारोह

इस वर्ष का मिलन समारोह बीबीएस के इतिहास का सबसे भव्य आयोजन माना जा रहा है। 400 से अधिक पूर्व छात्रों ने पंजीकरण कराया है और परिवार सहित भागीदारी को देखते हुए 800 से 1000 प्रतिभागियों की उपस्थिति का अनुमान है। यह आयोजन केवल यादें ताजा करने का अवसर नहीं बल्कि विद्यालय की गौरवपूर्ण परंपरा को पुनर्जीवित करने का भी एक अद्वितीय क्षण है।
